At Six on Brunkebergstorg first opened on 23 March 2017. Just three months later it has won the awards Europe’s Best Hotel and Best Restaurant in a Hotel at the International Hotel and Property Awards in Italy. And this is certainly well-deserved as far as we’re concerned!
At Six – Europe’s most beautiful hotel?
Yes, it certainly would seem so! 2017, the International Hotel & Property Awards were held at the five-star Hotel Caruso in Italy. The winners were selected by both the hotel industry and guests.
At Six Livingroom
Focus on design and art
Universal Design Studio, a London-based architecture and interior design practice, has worked with art curator Sune Nordgren to choose the design, furnishings and artwork for At Six. Together they have managed to create a truly unique hotel in terms of art and design. Think exclusive, bespoke furniture with an international touch, mixed with pieces from local Scandinavian designers. There is a lot of stone, steel, granite and wood, adding authenticity to the luxurious feel of the hotel. Universal Design Studio had a clear goal of making guests feel at home in the hotel’s luxury. They’ve succeeded.
Thirsty? Peckish? Then look no further…
When it comes to food and drink, you’ll certainly be spoiled for choice at Brunkebergstorg 6. Make sure to try Frida Ronge’s independent, Japanese-inspired restaurant, TAK (literally meaning roof and appropriately located on the roof terrace). If you’re a foodie, you’ll probably already know all about the restaurant and its owner. But you might not be as familiar with the other bars and restaurants at the hotel. At Six boasts a wide range of places to eat and drink, including a wine bar, cocktail bar, living room with great music and a restaurant that serves some truly excellent dishes, much like TAK, all throughout the day. The restaurant offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner – go ahead and try them all!
World-class hotel rooms
Forget tiny hotel rooms with paper-thin walls. At Six’s extraordinary hotel rooms will not disappoint. Would you like a Standard Room? Superior Room? Deluxe Room? Or perhaps a Suite? Whatever room category you choose, you can look forward to timeless and unique accommodation.
The Masterpiece Suite – Livingroom
The Masterpiece Suite – Bathroom
The Masterpiece Suite – Kitchenette
For total luxury, we recommend The Masterpiece Suite, which has frequently been called “The one and only”. And rightly so. The suite stretches over 85 sqm and there’s plenty of room for all kinds of social events here too. The living room features wonderful artwork chosen by Sune Nordgren. The bathroom has a freestanding bath with black Spanish marble. And you can even enjoy wonderful views of Stockholm on the large roof terrace.
