I had an odd five hour layover in Helsinki from 1am-6am. Exhausted from my trip, I just wanted to relax and try to get a few hours of sleep. For the amount of time I did not need a room. I intended to book a pod, but when I arrived they were all sold out. The woman working there was so kind and let me buy a drink and just relax in their comfortable lobby until I needed to go catch my connecting flight. This is five star service for sure. I often transit through Helsinki, and I will absolutely book a room or a pod next time I have a lengthy overnight layover.

Nice place inside airport terminal

We had early flight at 6 AM next day and we booked this hotel for night before. What cute little rooms they have. All basic things are there and rooms are clean. Sadly they didn't offer breakfast option at all. But there are many places at the airport to have your tummy filled. We are returning customers when flight schedules are very early in the morning. You pay for the location a bit extra, but it is worth the splurges.

Had a one night layover at the comfort xpress Helsinki. I had actually incorrectly booked the night after which I needed but the staff were very friendly and able to change to my arrival date without charge which was really appreciated by a couple of weary travellers. The room itself was quite basic and had no natural light, but perfectly adequate for a layover. Maybe the only complaint would be the lack of a mini fridge in the room but that would really be just nit picking.

Very convenient!

Excellent place to stay for one night, but although we were aware there was a lack of windows, it did feel a little odd. Sadly due to our late arrival, due to flights, there was only one place open to get a meal outside the hotel, but the supermarket was open. The welcoming staff were excellent both on our arrival, and when we left the following morning for our next flight from the departure halls just round the corner.
