Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff with excellent English spoken. We had a lovely suite (room 200) which had a little balcony. Room size was good and a fabulous view. Breakfast was excellent lots of choice and evening meal was OK with two options

We upgraded our room as we are a family of 3. The standard room is good for single for couple only. Location is very good as the airport bus is just right in front! Hassle free! Front office staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is very good and dinner provided is light. Usually 2 proteins, salad and coffee n tea. The only complain we had is the bath tub the panel that blocks the water is too small n toilet gets wet every time we shower.

Decent hotel, helpful staff. But be warned- they don't clean your room unless you specifically ask! They didnt mention this when i checked in, they really should have. Not what i would expect from an upmarket business/tourist hotel. Exercise room is also not great.

We stayed for three nights at the Clarion. The room was good size with wardrobe space, a safe, seating area & a good powerful shower. The hotel location couldn’t be better with shops, restaurants & supermarket in close proximity. The Flybussen drops & picks up right outside but requires a short suitcase juggle over the cobblestones. We also used this service to the Havila Terminal. Our rate included breakfast & supper which were both varied & plentiful. Hot drinks are available throughout the day in the reception area which is large with comfy chairs. We used this area for reading & relaxing as we had a rainy stay. Good value hotel in the historic Bryggen.

Beautiful historic hotel in a great location. Right next to Bryggen. Our room had a harbor view with an extended window seat. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Check in with Robin at the front desk was so good. He had a wealth of knowledge and was very personable. You can actually get three included meals per day. Breakfast, afternoon snack and evening meal. The food was enough to keep you going all day. Definitely a perk. There is a small bar for evening drinks and a lovely lobby to sit and relax. We really enjoyed our stay here.
