Pretty new and modern looking hotel with good amenities! Bodø must keep some kind of record of hotels per capita as you have a plethora of choices. But if you are looking for a simple hotel with nice rooms and comfortable beds - look no further! The "barception" is a bit of a miss though (Reception and bar combined) and during more crowded times completely misses the point of customer service. But no blame should be directed at the staff that provided excellent service!

I got stranded by a storm and tried to find a room at 23:45 from the back of my taxi. The driver pointed me to Comfort Inn, and I was booked and upgraded and in my 7th floor room within 6 minutes, - not kidding. The whole experience: from the calm competence that met me, the thoughtful design, sumptuous bed, window onto a whitecapped ocean, and excellent buffet breakfast the following morning exceeded all expectations. An amazingly well-made operation with great staff, I am recommending Comfort Inn Bodø to everyone.

Great WiFi, great shower, smart TV. Clean room. Everything I want from a hotel. And it is right where all the expensive hotels are right next to the harbour.

Neat room (610) and nicely-fitted bathroom with built-in night light underneath the washhand basin (a rare but great feature for us oldies!). Comfortable bed; opening window; and good blackout curtains. Very happy with choice of hotel and good value at £110/n incl. a decent breakfast. Travel tip: There is a frequent bus service from the airport to the town centre - with the main stop only a few blocks away - but the cost differential is not great and for 2+ people with heavy suitcases it probably makes more sense to get a taxi...
