During the summer months, we recommend you to make the short drive to Eiktunet, a wonderful café set in a historic building dating back to the 1700s. For those who like to stay active, you can head to the Gjøvik Climbing Adventure Park and the Gjøvik Olympic Mountain Hall (Fjellhallen) built for the 1994 Olympics, which is the world's largest underground auditorium. Fjellhallen is home to one of the country's toughest climbing walls, as well as Norway's largest display of rock carvings. You'll also find several sandy beaches in and around Gjøvik.
