Comfort Hotel® Eskilstuna

I’ve been a guest at this hotel several times this year. For me what sets it apart is the staff, especially those on reception. They are always welcoming with a smile and a pleasant Hej or good morning. Now sometimes at hotels things don’t go according to plan and this is where the reception team really step up. On one occasion there was a party over the river. I went down at 10:30 and nothing was too much for Faisa, she had me moved rooms while keeping access to my original room, so I didn’t have to move my belongings. On a couple of occasions housekeeping missed my room and reception again had this sorted the same day. During my last stay the system went down for checking me in. Eleanor on reception kept a calm head and was very professional. Even when some of the lights didn’t work in my room, she took it personally on herself to fix the problem. If I could make one suggestion it would be that someone checks over the rooms after housekeeping or before new guests arrive. Just to make sure everything works as it should. The breakfast here is plentiful, and you can go up as often as you like. The smoothie shots hit the spot (even though I put mine in a larger glass) I also like the tablet drinks dispenser. For me the coffee is the best around. The breakfast staff are also friendly. Usually wondering why I am standing over the toaster. There is payable parking out of the front or in the shopping mall nearby. The WIFI is also very good. The laundry room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and 2 ironing boards for guests to use. Washing power is also supplied.

Unclean room and unprofessional staff! The bed and pillow had sperm, no hygiene stuff to shower. No water to drink. very disgusting!

Bit old hotel, but located in a very nice location with proximity to the centrum, restaurants, bars and all shops. Budget friendly with friendly staffs. The room was ok with basic amenities (you get what you pay for), but its good enough for the stay. The breakfast was good with decent varities and staff were refilling the breakfast buffet quite fast. We also used "Lazy Sunday" to extend the checkout until Sunday 18:00 at no extra cost which is a biggest plus, so we stayed in the city bit late to explore things more. There is a nice kids playroom as well.

A nice, but somewhat worn hotel in the central parts of Eskilstuna. The location is perfect with the city centra within walking distance. I can also imagine it be perfect for your morning- or afternoon jog with nice park areas and a waterfront nearby. The hotel has some 12 parking spaces around the front and side of the building and are easily accessible. The room was nice and good size with a clean bathroom. Something that is highly individual is bed preference. I would have preferred a much harder bed. Because the bed was so soft I didn´t sleep very well. The staff is excellent and very helpful. It was no problems at all calling the reception one day ahead of the stay to book a parking spot outside the hotel. Breakfast was sufficient and had just about everything you need. The juice dispenser could have needed a refill since the apple juice was very watery. All in all, a good place to stay.

Had a nice twin room at the 7th floor with view of the water and the park. Good beds, good bathroom. Because of the corona virus everything at the breakfast buffet was wrapped in plastic. We enjoyed it. Students were graduating both on the Friday and Saturday we stayed there, and lots of noice and party going on outside. But everybody was happy, so it be. Slept well. Had a good time. Basic rooms with no fridge, no toiletries but it was like we expected it to be. Not many guests, because of the corona virus. Loved the central location and the view.
