Breakfast

The buffet breakfast at Clarion Hotel Post features a good range of healthy and nutritious to get your day off to a great start! We’re extra proud to be able to offer you a wide selection of organic produce. Breakfast is always included in your room rate. Go ahead and make a reservation to avoid busy breakfast times – simply book your 45-minute slot using a QR code when you check in.

Parking

When you stay at Clarion Hotel Post, you can get discounted parking rates at P-Hus Norstan. There are also six spaces at Åkareplatsen behind the hotel. Please note that there are ongoing roadworks in large parts of Gothenburg, so just follow your GPS or signposts to P-Hus Norstand (300 metres from the hotel) or Åkareplatsen.

Getting here
Clarion Hotel Post is located right next to Gothenburg Central Station, so the best and most environmentally friendly way of getting here is by train! There are also numerous buses that link into the public transport system here at the train station. Those of you arriving by plane can take the airport shuttle bus from Gothenburg Landvetter Airport to the hotel, which takes around 25 minutes. If you're arriving by car, we advise you to park at the Nordstan P-hus before you check in to minimise the number of people pulling up outside the hotel.

Express Checkout

Want to avoid long queues when checking out? Then you're going to love our Express Checkout service! If you've paid for everything including the minibar, all you need to do is post your key card in the hotel's Express Checkout box when you depart. It really couldn't be easier!

Gym

Skönhetsfabriken (The Beauty Factory) features a gym equipped with high quality Technogym machinery for fitness, strength and cardio workouts. The running machines and bikes have screens that allow you to use the internet and watch TV. Hotel guests enjoy free 24/7 access to the gym.

Rooftop Pool & Terrace

Enjoy our wonderful rooftop terrace with a heated pool and stunning panoramic views of the Gothenburg skyline! The rooftop and the pool are open all the year round, providing an ideal place to sit back in the sunshine or enjoy a nice refreshing dip! Relish the vibe and feel on top of the world!

Entry includes use of a bathrobe. To reduce our carbon footprint, we kindly ask you to bring your own slippers or flip-flops. You can also purchase a pair of slippers for the reception for 150 SEK. Please book your pool slot as detailed in the email sent out by the hotel a few days before your arrival or by contacting the reception. Children aged under 16 are welcome to swim in the company of a guardian until 3pm. Teenagers aged between 16-17 are welcome to swim at all times when accompanied by an adult.

Bring along your best friend! Pets are more than welcome at our hotel, and can stay with you in your room for 300 SEK per stay, or 400 SEK per stay for two pets or more. Guide dogs are exempt of charges, but please make sure to bring the required certification.

We have a limited number of pet-friendly rooms so make sure to contact us when you book your stay to ensure availability. These rooms are located on floor 6 in the older, original building of the hotel. Please contact the reception if you would like further information about our pet-friendly rooms.
