Clarion Collection® Hotel Victoria

Such an amazing hotel, the building is fantastic, great rooms, service is absolutely top notch. Dining area feels like sitting outside but are inside, Great food, almost fully booked in the restaurant but did not feel busy. we were upgrades to a suit without asking. great location.

Our staying at hotel Victoria was pretty good, all together. The building is nice - however, it is just "an illusion" as most of the hotel resides in a modern building built around the old, beautiful one. The staff was very corteous at the reception and our rooms were comfortable and spacious. The rooms were clean and there was a good space for our items both in the room per se' and in the bathroom. Breakfast was pretty ordinary. A bit typical "Clarion" style, nothing that did leave any special memory as being particularly good. A good bunch of warm food, some juices, teas, some sweets. Nothing to complain but nothing fancy either. Our staying included also a dinner and that was served in the same place as the breakfast. The restaurant area was spacious, but lacked cosyness. Our dinner was supposed to have some schniztel with potatoes and bernaise sauce. We still talk about the dinner as the worse dinner we have ever eaten in our whole life. The potatoes were okeysh, but the sauce was horrendous and even worse was the meat, that was possibly some frozen schnitzel of low quality, cooked a bit too much and that had then the resemblances of a shoes bottom. For being able to eat anything at all, we had to buy some soft drink as the taste was just bad. That sadly influenced a lot our experience as the hotel, which otherwise had been quite comfortable.

Conditions were ok. The food is ok - too salty sometimes. The staff is the strongest atuu - realy professionals! The gym is poor in equipments, but you can do your things. The hotel is in the center of Jonkoping city, so you can visit a lot or clubs. Overall - really nice place.

Great central location close to the train station and Sofia church. Good breakfast, quiet and clean room, helpful staff and tasty dinner. Extremely efficient check-in. During summer season, make sure you book breakfast and dinner slot in advance.

We spent one night at this hotel on our want to Stockholm. The hotel is nice and the staff accommodating. The evening meal and breakfast was good. The atrium area where the meals are served is nice. The location is also good.
