In summer the nearby harbour comes to life as yachts glide by and a lovely regatta feeling spreads. Then you can enjoy your morning coffee on the quay side. From here the city's lively selection of restaurants, cafés and shops is just around the corner. The hotel is right next to the popular Baronen Shopping Centre, which has most things in the way of clothes and gadgets.

A historic building dating back to the 1700s.
Our hotel has a long and interesting history. The building dates back to the 1700s, and was carefully converted into a hotel in the mid 1980s. Here you can learn a great deal about the area's history. The lobby and corridors contain an exhibition about Kalmar's harbour and the area around the hotel.
