Clarion Collection® Hotel Temperance

I had a fantastic stay here. Despite a hiccup at check-in as to whether I had paid in advance, I arrived just in time for Fika at 3pm so was able to have tea/coffee and little cakes. After exploring the town, I got back at 6 pm for the buffet dinner. I was not expecting much but wow, it was impressive! Not sure if it was because it was a Saturday night but it was way better than I thought. Soup, freshly baked bread, big bowls of different salads, sliced roast pork dish with roasted new potatoes and a lovely sauce. Had a great night’s sleep in a very comfy bed, and then tackled the breakfast buffet which was also magnificent with so many hot and cold options and even a waffle maker. I ate so much at the hotel that I didn’t really need to eat in Malmo at all! The only tiny negative was a small bathroom window that didn’t have a blind so felt a bit exposed from neighbouring buildings. The staff are friendly but very informal and will call you by your first name rather than Mr/Mrs/Miss.

Convenient location 10-15min walk from mainline station. Friendly reception staff who gave relevant details for hotel amenities. Lift to all floors. Room was nice with opening door window to inside courtyard view. Necessary as we arrived in unseasonably warm weather. Fan in the room which was also used. Lighting fine and bathroom was a decent size. Booed with the half board option and breakfast was really good. Evening meal limited main meal selection but plenty of accompaniments. Staff were helpful and all round the stay was very good. Good position of the hotel made it easy to get around on foot. Would happily choose to stay again. Can't say the pillows were the best though.

Our recent stay in Malmö barely made our satisfaction. Here are the key observations from our experience: 1. **Room Size and Amenities**: The room we stayed in was small, even for 1 adult and 1 kid. Additionally, there was no air conditioning, and the windows could not be opened. This made the room feel stuffy and a bit uncomfortable during warmer weather. 2. **Food Quality**: The food served at the hotel was acceptable/ fine, but it did not stand out in any particular way. It met basic expectations but did not exceed them. 3. **Cleanliness**: The overall cleanliness of the hotel was average. However, we found the restaurant to be somewhat dirty, regarding interior and area with glass. Also we did find long hair from previous guests in our bed upon arrival. In summary, while the food was passable and the cleanliness was average, the lack of air conditioning and the inability to open windows, and the discovery of hair in our bed significantly detracted from our stay. But the staff was kind and prime location for exploring the city!

Super friendly staff, great welcome from Samuel on arrival, excellent breakfast choice and a buffet evening meal. Great location in Central Malmo. Thank you for making my stay so memorable. Would definitely recommend... Keep up the good work.

We stayed here for one night and loved it. The staff were unbelievably helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The evening dinner was lovely and breakfast was amazing - so much choice and we loved the ginger shots. We used the gym which was great too. A perfect hotel in a perfect location.
