Comfort Hotel® Xpress Stockholm Central

I had problems getting the self check-in to work so I had to ask for help from the staff in the bar, but other than that my experience was very nice. Room is small and there's absolutely nothing fancy, which I didn't expect either, considering the price tag. Everything works smooth, it's extremely well located if you want to stay nearby the train station. I'm very happy with my stay!

We came at night with kids and after shower, we took our stuff and understand that we need to go find somewhere else to stay on. It’s not hotel! Its hostel! The room small and very old, not even closet, fridge or something. Very Simple and poor, Very disappointing

Location: I have to say, this hotel is in an excellent location. The hotel is around the corner from the express train, train station or an airport coach. Literally, 5 minutes walk. As for the central location, it is less than 15 minutes walk into the town or 10 minutes to a metro. Surrounded by plenty of restaurants, fast food, etc. Hotel: Surprisingly it says self check in. If you have booked via a distributer do not check in via the machine as it will ask for payment. Luckily, go to the bar and be greeted via very professional well mannered customer service. Multilingual and polite. You can store your luggage with them if you wish. Room: rooms are rather ok. Not big but not too small. The shower room is a reasonable size. The pressure from the shower is great. Shower gel is supplied and a hair dryer. The only strange thing to note, is that the toilet is rather high. Like what you find on cruise ships. It might be due to the Swedish population being very tall. Just to add, you will not get any hotel tidy up or cleaning for 4 days. This is linked to sustainability and if you stay this long and require additional towels you will have to pay for this. I'm in agreement with the sustainability but 4 days until changing wet towels is a bit too much. Bed? The mattress is ok but does move. Just a warning. One thing they should do is have power sockets on each side of the bed. TV? Not much to watch but plenty of channels in English or Swedish. Not the best quality TV but you are on holiday. It would be nice to mirror what you want to watch on your phone but you can't have it all. Noise levels? Bring ear buds if you plan to sleep early in the hotel. After 12 it's fine. You can hear the train station or the local bars if you have sensitive heating. It's not loud but you can hear it. Only two hangers? Strange but you could put a bit more out. Anything else? There is central heating or air conditioning. Not really needed but I can see it running into problems in the winter. No iron or ironing board. Overall, the hotel is very good. Going to be a bit harsh by taking one star off due to noise levels, high toilet, 4 days to change towels and having to pay for it.

The hotel is located very central and right next to the Alanda express station. Reception is helpful and very friendly. Easy to book in and out. The room is small by very comfortable and bedbis realy nice. Wifi is good and fast. Will definitely stay here next time
