Norrland's biggest shopping centre, "In", with its shops and boutiques plus the main high street Storgatan are all within walking distance. Convenient parking
You can reserve a space in our garage where you can park your car securely during your stay. Parking costs 255 SEK/24h and the garage is located in the same building as the hotel. Please note that spaces are limited and cannot be booked in advance.
History – from cinema to hotel
Sundsvall's history is still alive at Clarion Collection Hotel Grand. The building was constructed at the end of the 1920s and at the time was used as a cinema, community hall and small hotel with six rooms. Today you can follow the history of the city through the two brothers Anders Petter and Jonas August Hedberg, who were two of Sundsvall's sawmill owners. You can read the brothers' story throughout the hotel, from their trade trips in Medelpad (province in Northern Sweden) to their time as wood merchants in Sundsvall at the end of 1800s. The brothers have meant a lot to the city over the years, and their donations financed the fountain in Vängåvan park and the secondary school, which later became Hedbergska secondary school.

Sundsvall has a thriving golf scene. We work together with Sundsvall GK, Öjestrand GK and Timrå GK – three golf courses which offer very varied challenges. We offer our guests favourable golf packages including green fees and accommodation.
