Spenn is the name of Strawberry and Norwegian's new loyalty currency. This joint loyalty currency makes it easier for members to earn and use Spenn across several different membership programmes – without complicated conversion processes. You'll earn Spenn when you stay at our hotels, and you can get a clear overview of your Spenn balance on "My Page" (just like before) and the new Spenn app, where you'll also find personal offers and benefits. Spenn gives you greater flexibility, less hassle and more possibilities!

With the Spenn app, you can connect your membership accounts at Strawberry and Norwegian, to enable you to earn and use Spenn on all your future purchases. The app provides you with a full overview of your Spenn balance and all your transactions, as well as exclusive offers, deals and benefits from our partners. You'll also be able to earn Spenn together with family and friends using "Spenn Tillsammans".

No, you don't need the Spenn app to earn and use Spenn with Strawberry, but you will have a bigger and better experience when you link together your various member programmes in the Spenn app. You'll also get access to several offers and deals from more of our partners – all in one place!

The value of your Spenn depends on when and how you use them. Spenn will be using dynamic pricing, which means that room rates are affected by capacity, demand, dates and seasons.

You'll earn 3 Spenn for every 10 kr spent on stays in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Stays in Finland and the Baltics give you 3 Spenn for every euro spent. Please note that there may be exceptions to certain rates. You'll also get an additional 10%, 20% or 30% Spenn based on your membership level: Silver, Gold or Platinum. You'll find more detailed information under our Terms & Conditions.

Your earned Spenn will be valid for 36 months from the month they were earned.

The loyalty currency Spenn gives members even more possibilities! Prior to the launch of Spenn, members were only able to use the points they earned with a partner linked to the same membership programme. With Spenn you can earn and use Spenn across several membership programmes, which gives you greater flexibility and freedom of choice.

Yes! Strawberry Mastercard will continue to be a valuable way to increase earnings of Spenn. You will even earn qualifying nights for every month that you use the card. Silver and Gold members get two qualifying nights per month, while Platinum members get three qualifying nights per month. You'll earn 10 Spenn per 100 kr spent at our hotels, 6 Spenn per 100 kr on transactions abroad and 5 Spenn per 100 kr on purchases made in your home country. This does not apply to cash withdrawals or money transfers to private persons (e.g. Vipps).

Any bonus points that you have already earned from Strawberry will still be available for use until 31 December 2025. From 19 November 2024, you'll still be able to keep any existing bonus points you have collected, while earning Spenn on all new purchases from then onwards. You can also convert your bonus points into gift cards to pay for hotel stays, restaurant meals and spa visits. Gift cards can be purchased using bonus points until 31 December 2025, and they will be valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. So, if you still have bonus points to purchase gift cards on 31 December 2025, you'll be able to use them until 31 December 2027.

From 19 November, members will earn Spenn on all new purchases – it is not possible to convert any existing bonus points into Spenn. Your bonus points will be valid until 31 December 2025. If you decide to use them to purchase a gift card, you'll be able to retain the value of your bonus points for another 24 months to be used to pay for hotel stays, restaurant meals and spa visits.

A Superdeal is a price code with limited availability with a requirement to pay the full price of the room with Spenn, giving you more value for your Spenn and better flexibility when it comes to cancellation than if you were to use your Spenn for Member Price Prepaid (prepaid rate for members).
