Summer is fast approaching! And we’re well aware that holidays can be both expensive and hard to plan. A summer pass provides an easy, flexible and stress-free solution – it’s ideal for the whole family!
A summer pass give you a bunch of nights at a fixed price for overnight stays whenever it suits you! You can choose between 5 nights for €500 valid at over 100 hotels or 10 nights for €800 valid at over 80 hotels. Choose freely among the hotels and spend your nights exactly how you want.

Frequently asked questions
When can I use the summer pass?
The summer pass can be used for stays every day between June 19 and August 25 (with the last possible checkout date being August 25). Please note that certain dates may not be available in some cities due to local events.
Can I spend all 5 or 10 nights at the same hotel?
Yes, you can certainly stay all 5 or 10 nights at just one hotel if you want. You can also use up to 3 nights to book up to 3 rooms on the same night, as long as the hotel has rooms available for this offer on that date.
Can I book a room for more than two people?
The offer is valid for two people in a moderate or standard room. If you need an extra bed, a pet-friendly room, or if you have another type of special request, this can usually be arranged by contacting the hotel directly. Please note that this may incur additional costs.
Can I bring my children?
Children are of course welcome to our hotels! Up to two children aged under 9 are welcome to sleep in an adult’s bed free of charge.
For children aged over 9, you will need to book an extra bed. The cost of extra beds varies from hotel to hotel, but the average price is 300 SEK/NOK, 200 DKK or 30 EUR per night. There may also be additional costs, since you may need to be moved to a higher room category if there is not enough space to accommodate an extra bed in your room. Please note that room sizes vary from hotel to hotel.
Can I bring my dog?
Pets are more than welcome! However, please note that there will be a surcharge payable at the hotel. The exact cost varies from hotel to hotel, but is roughly 300 SEK/NOK or 30 EUR per stay for one pet, and 400 SEK/NOK or 40 EUR for two or more. Please make sure to inform the hotel at the time of booking, so that they can reserve a suitable room for you.
What happens if I don’t use all nights before the end of the offer period?
You can book rooms until 23 August 2025, for stays until 25 August 2025. It is unfortunately not possible to extend the offer period or the validity of the hotel pass. If you are running out of time, our best tip is to book hotels in your own city to enjoy a luxurious staycation!
What if my favourite hotel is fully booked?
This could of course happen, as there are a limited number of rooms available with this offer per night. If you want to be sure of being able to stay at a specific hotel, you can check availability on the booking pages.
Is breakfast included in this offer?
Yes, breakfast is included at all hotels except for Comfort Hotel® Xpress, where breakfast is available for purchase.
Is access to the gym and wellness areas included?
This varies from hotel to hotel. Generally, access to the gym and wellness areas is included in the room rate at Comfort Hotel®, Quality Hotel™, Home Hotel and Clarion Hotel®. We advise you to contact the hotel where you are due to stay before you check in to be sure.
Are "fika" and dinner included at Home Hotel?
Yes, always!
How do I check in at the hotel?
When you check in, simply tell the receptionist that you have a summer pass and provide the unique code stated on your hotel pass. The staff will check you in as normal. The only thing that is different from a normal check-in is that you need to provide your hotel pass code in addition to giving your name and reservation number.
Can anyone stay in the hotel rooms booked through the offer?
No, the hotel pass is personal and the owner, whose name is stated on the pass, has to stay in one of the rooms themselves and show identification at the time of check-in. Thus, the same name given at check-in must be stated on the hotel pass and the room booking. However, any other people who stay with the pass holder in the room (or in the additional rooms, if the booking is made for more than one room per night) do not have to be the same for each stay.
What happens if I lose my hotel pass?
If the hotel pass has been accidentally erased, it may be restored under certain circumstances. Please contact our Customer Service if you would like to check whether this is possible.
Do I have to be or become a member to book?
Membership is not necessary. But we certainly recommend you to join! As a member, you can find all your bookings in one place to get a clear overview of your stays – AND, you’ll earn Spenn too!
Will I receive Spenn when using the summer pass?
Of course. You earn Spenn when you stay at a hotel, as long as you book the room while you are logged in. You'll earn 3 Spenn for every 10 kr spent on stays in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Stays in Finland and the Baltics give you 3 Spenn for every euro spent. You'll also get an additional 10%, 20% or 30% Spenn based on your membership level: Silver, Gold or Platinum.
If you forgot to log in when booking, you can provide your membership number at the hotel when you check in. You will also earn one qualifying night per room night. Please note that other member benefits are not included.
Can I use the hotel pass as partial payment for stays at hotels that are not included in this offer?
Yes, you can also use the Summer Pass as payment for stays at hotels not included in this offer. When you check in, tell the receptionist that you have a Summer Pass, and provide the unique code and your identification. The hotel will subtract the cost of one hotel night from your Summer Pass. Please note that the price will vary depending on whether you purchased a Summer Pass with 5 or 10 nights. You will pay the remaining difference at the hotel.
For partial payments in each country, the following value applies per night, regardless of the currency in which you purchased the pass:
- Sweden: 1000 SEK/night.
- Norway: 1000 NOK/night.
- Denmark: 700 DKK/night.
- Finland & Lithuania: 100 EUR/night.
NB! The Summer Pass may only be used as payment for price categories that are payable at the hotel and that have been booked via our website/app – it cannot be used as payment for prepaid bookings.
Terms & Conditions
1 GENERAL
1.1 The terms apply between you and Nordic Choice Commercial Services AS, org.no. NO 968 819 372, ("Strawberry") when purchasing the summer pass, hereinafter called hotel pass at www.strawberryhotels.com (the "Website").
1.2 By purchasing a hotel pass with 5 or 10 nights on the Website, you thereby also agree to these terms and conditions.
2 PAYMENT
2.1 The hotel pass can be purchased by using one of the payment methods shown on the Website. When making a purchase, the payment terms on the Website apply in as far as these are not stipulated in these terms and conditions.
2.2 The hotel pass has a fixed price of 500 EUR, 5000 NOK/SEK or 3500 DKK for 5 nights, and 800 EUR, 8000 NOK/SEK or 5000 DKK for 10 nights.
2.3 Once the purchase of the hotel pass is complete, the hotel pass will be sent to the email address provided at the time of purchase.
3 VALIDITY
3.1 The hotel pass is valid from 19 June 2025 - 25 August 2025 (last possible check-out date). Once the validity period has expired, the hotel pass can no longer be used. Any value not used at the end of the validity period will expire. It is not possible to extend the validity period of the hotel pass or exchange the value for cash.
4 BOOKING
4.1
- You book your nights here if you have purchased 5 nights.
- You book your nights here if you have purchased 10 nights.
4.2 If you book one night at a discounted price on the booking page without having a hotel pass when you check in at the hotel, you pay the current price for the room.
4.3 You can cancel and rebook a hotel night until 16:00 on the scheduled day of arrival.
4.4 This hotel pass is valid for a maximum of 5 nights or 10 nights.
4.5 The hotel pass is personal meaning that the booking must be in the owner's name.
4.6 The hotel pass owner can bring a guest to stay in the same room if the room is booked for two people. If you need accommodation for more than two people, you will be charged for an extra bed or may be required to pay for a larger room where the extra bed can be accommodated. If an extra bed is needed, it must be entered in the special request box at the time of booking. The extra fee is payable directly at the hotel.
5 USE
5.1 This offer is valid for overnight stays in a Moderate or Standard Room for up to two people. Upgrades and other add-ons are available at an additional cost. Please note that some hotels will only offer Moderate rooms when using a hotel pass.
5.2 The hotel pass is used to pay for hotel nights booked on the hotel pass booking page. The value of the hotel night is deducted when you check in at the hotel.
5.3 The hotel pass is personal and can only be used by the person who owns the hotel pass. The hotel may require identification at the time of check-in.
5.4 The hotel pass cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.
5.5 The hotel pass cannot be exchanged for cash.
5.6 You can choose where you want to spend your nights. You can find the list of available hotels here:
5.7 Cancellation of hotel nights must be made on the Website. As payment is due at the time of check-in, cancellations will not affect the value of the hotel pass. Cancellations are to be made no later than 16:00 on the scheduled day of arrival.
6 BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
6.1 You'll earn 3 Spenn for every 10 kr spent on stays in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Stays in Finland and the Baltics give you 3 Spenn for every euro spent. You'll also get an additional 10%, 20% or 30% Spenn based on your membership level: Silver, Gold or Platinum.
6.2 This offer does not include membership benefits, such as upgrading.
7 PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
7.1 When purchasing a hotel pass, we will use the personal details required to be able to fulfill our obligations according to these terms and conditions, and to ensure a payment by card can be processed. When you purchase the hotel pass, we will use your email address, your name and certain payment information.
7.2 Strawberry will process your purchase of the hotel pass in collaboration with GiftUp. When purchasing the hotel pass, your personal information will be transferred to GiftUp in order to enable the use of the hotel pass in accordance with these terms and conditions.
7.3 Personal data processing is otherwise subject to our General Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
8 RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
8.1 As a consumer, your right of withdrawal period is 14 days when you purchase the hotel pass via the Website. The right of withdrawal means that you can cancel your purchase of the hotel pass without having to provide a reason. If your right of withdrawal is approved, your purchase of the hotel pass will be refunded. The right of withdrawal must be exercised within 14 days from the date the hotel pass was purchased.
8.2 The right of withdrawal does not include hotel, restaurant or spa bookings made via the website.
8.3 Please contact our Customer Service if you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
9 OTHER
9.1 If the hotel pass has been accidentally erased, it may be replaced under certain circumstances. Please contact our Customer Service if you would like to check whether this is possible.
9.2 Strawberry cannot be held responsible if information about the hotel pass is shared with third parties or if you suspect the unauthorised use of the hotel pass. You agree to notify Strawberry immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of the hotel pass.
9.3 In the event of unlawful use of the hotel pass, Strawberry reserves the right to suspend the passport, as well as, charge the buyer for costs incurred as a result of the unlawful use.
9.4 If these terms and conditions conflict with other terms and conditions, these terms and conditions will take precedence with respect to the purchase and use of the hotel pass.
9.5 Norwegian law shall apply to these conditions. Disputes arising from these terms shall be settled in the Norwegian public court, unless mandatory rules on consumer protection stipulate otherwise.
