More about Ramsalt:
RAMSALT 1,2,3 got its name from Bodø's new city promenade that showcases fabulous views of the water. Ramsalt also lends its name to the hotel, as well as the beautiful urban area being developed in Sjøgata.
We have a large meeting room and a spacious conference venue that can be divided into three sections. These venues are ideal for corporate gatherings, conferences, exhibitions, and all kinds of parties and celebrations.
HUNDHOLMEN: The meeting room is named after the old name for the town. In 1816, Hundholmen became Bodø and it was officially recognised as a town by the king.
RAMSALT 1,2,3: Ramsalt is our largest venue and can also be divided into 3 separate sections. It got its name from Bodø's new city promenade that showcases fabulous views of the water.
The Quality Hotel Ramsalt has 3 medium-sized meeting rooms that are suitable for all kinds of corporate gatherings. The rooms have flexible seating layouts and are equipped with modern technology.
KEISERN: (Keiservarden). Named after Bodø's mountain plateau, 366 metres above sea level, which is the number one tourist destination for hikers. In 2015, Sherpas from Nepal began constructing a new path to the top of the mountain, and in 2016, the Keiserstien was opened as part of Bodø's 200-year anniversary celebrations. Queen Sonja of Norway officially inaugurated the path on 19 June 2016.
SALTSTRAUMEN: Named after Saltstraumen, the world's largest natural whirlpool (Norwegian: malstrøm), which is just a short boat ride from the hotel, and so much to see and experience on the way!
BODIN: This meeting room is named after a former farm and municipality in Nordland that was closed down in 1968 when it merged with Bodø. Bodin still has a strong identity in the town, and has also given its name to Bodø's acclaimed microbrewery Bådin.
The Quality Hotel Ramsalt has 5 meeting rooms that are ideal for smaller events such as workshops, seminars and interviews. The rooms feature a range of modern conference equipment and are suitable for up to 12 people.
STEIGTIND: This boardroom was named after Bodø's most distinctive mountain, a relatively easily accessible destination for hikers.
NYHOLMEN SKANDSE: When you look out of the windows in Brasserie X, you look straight across to Skansen, after which this room is named. The fort was built in 1810 to protect the grain warehouses on Hundholmen from British warships. Nyholmen is one of only two forts built in northern Norway.
PARKEN: This meeting room is named after the folk festival that takes place in mid-August, bringing friends and family together to hear great music Rensåsparken. The park festival is always sold out, and we hope we can make it a tradition for the meeting room as well!
FYRET: On the Eggløysa islet just north of the Landegode island, you' ll find Landego lighthouse. The meeting gets its name from this lighthouse that was put into operation in 1902 and was manned in 1993. The lighthouse still guides vessels that come sailing by in all kinds of weather.
HOVDSUNDET: Named after the spectacular Hovdsundet beach, one of Bodø's most popular hiking destinations. The narrow beach parts the strait and forms a unique natural vista with the mountains and the water.
The Quality Hotel Ramsalt offers day packages including lunch, fruit, snacks, coffee, tea, soft scoop ice cream and popcorn. You can also enjoying a delicious lunch or dinner at Brasserie X, with fantastic views of the stunning natural surroundings.
