Our hotel is situated in the city's oldest building and is brimming with history and charm. This, along with it's fully equipped conference facilities, make it a fantastic choice for a business trip with a unique twist.
All our business guests enjoy a complimentary evening meal for unwinding after a day of meetings. There are a number of other restaurants in the local area serving up traditional dishes as well as international cuisine, all easily reached on foot. Guests can walk to the riverside to enjoy a drink or meal at Havnepuben, a popular bar and grill that's perfect for relaxing after a hard day's work.
In the opposite direction from the river lies Vitensenteret Innlandet, a fantastic science museum which is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. Guests can pop by on their day off from their meetings and conferences. Gjøvik train station is also a short walk from the hotel, right by the river and connects guests to the rest of the city.
After a day or evening of exploring the city, guests can enjoy a drink at the hotel's lobby bar, a charming and relaxing area where the stress of the day will melt away.
Four conference and meeting rooms are set in the historic building at Clarion Collection Hotel Grand, Gjøvik, encouraging history to inspire imagination. Each room is equipped with a basic sound system and PC-projector. Access to WiFi is available.
Grandsalen is the largest of all our meeting rooms, seating up to 180 guests at a time in a cinema-style seating arrangement. This space can be used for presentations, shows, networking events and large scale workshops.
Kaufelt is one of our medium meeting rooms accommodating up to 50 guests each in cinema-style seating. For smaller crowds the seats can be arranged in a horseshoe style, seating up to 20 guests at a time. Both rooms can host board meetings.
Daily packages can be booked for conferences, including a two-course lunchtime meal as well as hot drinks and fruit during breaks. Breakfast, Fika and an evening meal are all complimentary during a stay at our warm, comfortable hotel.
