Anyone who arranges a couse or conference here with us will be assigned a contact person to ensure that the needs of your guests are being met during your time on the island. You'll have someone to assist you with all the practical arrangements – our goal is to make things easy for you so that you have time to focus on your job: inspiring, developing, training and spending time with your colleagues!

Funken Lodge has one large, modern 136-sqm conference space for up to 150 people, which can be also divided into smaller meeting rooms if needed. Our flexible conference facilities are ideal for all kinds of events, large and small.
The Svalbardsal is suitable for meetings and conferences for up to 50 people. This bright and modern space features a range of technical equipment and can be adapted to suit the specific needs of your event.
The Styrerommet and Røderommet are ideal for up to 15 people providing a modern conference space in a lovely historic setting with fabulous views.
The «Styrerommet» (lit. boardroom) was once used by managers of the coal mining company to sit and negotiate way back when. This is a fabulous venue for various occasions and you might even be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights dance across the skyline.
We’ll make sure you’re brimming with energy for a full day of meetings and events by providing delicious and nutritious food and beverages. Our tailor-made packages for groups feature special menus created by our Head Chef.
