In a secluded location near Sunne, Sweden, Selma Spa is the perfect place for a business retreat. We call our ethos Lactic Acid & Champagne – a work-hard, play-hard mix of fully equipped conference rooms, free WiFi, a gym, spa facilities and skiing.
Lactic Acid & Champagne is all about hard work and reward. Whether you're indulging in treatments after a hard day's brainstorming, exercising on the ski slopes or relaxing with colleagues over a drink, you'll be able to find the right balance here.
All the stress of business just melts away at our spa. Take a dip in one of our four indoor and outdoor pools or enjoy the invigorating heat of our dry sauna, steam sauna, herbal sauna and caldarium. You can take your pick from more than 40 spa treatments or treat yourself to eco-friendly beauty products such as Decléor and BareMinerals from our shop.
If you're looking for a more vigorous way to unwind from the pressures of work, why not hit the ski slopes? Ski Sunne is just 10km away. There are also plenty of running trails and cycling routes just outside the door, and the Sunne golf course is a short drive away.
Whether you've been working out or working hard, you'll want to keep your energy levels up with delicious food. Our restaurant is dedicated to balancing great taste and good health, with meat, fish and vegetarian dishes prepared from local produce. Wash it down with a healthy smoothie or a vintage wine – the decision is yours.
To really make your conference go with a bang, take advantage of our party venue, Selmas Etage. With three levels, views towards the pool and lake Fryken, a bar and an entertainment stage, it's a great way for your guests to let their hair down.
With 14 business venues, we can accommodate everything from interviews to conferences of more than 800 guests. Each comes with all the facilities you need, from projectors and sound systems to flipcharts and stationery.
Our largest room, Magnum, holds 400 people in cinema-style seating and features a moveable stage and professional lighting – so it's ideal for product launches or keynote speeches. The large, airy space is also perfect for trade fairs or networking.
For larger presentations or training sessions, there's a choice of six conference rooms, ranging in capacities from 40 to 110 people. The biggest, Selmas Etage, has large doors for bringing in oversized exhibits, for events like a new car launch.
Host a team meeting, interview or seminar in one of our seven smaller meeting rooms, with space for eight to 12 people in boardroom seating. There's plenty of natural light and some have views out towards the lake.
We know how important it is to keep energy levels high for your meeting, so we offer a healthy breakfast, a mid-morning snack, lunch and dinner. There's free tea and coffee along with water and fresh fruit to keep you going all day.
