The period building from 1929 once housed the town's cinema. Now the Clarion Collection Hotel Cardinal stands tall, beautifully decorated with oil paintings and Persian rugs to complement the modern features.
Comfort and luxury go hand-in-hand here, with a Relax area where guests can enjoy some downtime to unwind after a long day of meetings. Prefer to de-stress using weights, treadmills and yoga mats? The gym is kitted out with new equipment for guests to use.
Breakfast, afternoon sweets and evening meals are all complimentary and are made with fresh and organic ingredients. Soup, salad and a main meal are served at dinner to keep guests fuelled throughout the evening and night.
Växjö has a thriving cultural scene with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops for guests to explore in the evening after their conference. A huge variety of eateries are on the hotel's doorstep, including 4 Krogar Vid Sjön which looks out across the lake by Linneparken – an exquisite place to enjoy an evening drink or meal whilst the city transforms from day to night. Other main attractions in the city which are worth a visit include the concert hall, cathedral and theatre.
The hotel has three different-sized spaces and meeting rooms that can be used for conferences. Each room has access to complimentary WiFi and all are equipped with a PC projector, a sound system and a whiteboard.
Cardinalen is the largest of our three spaces that can seat up to 50 guests in cinema-style seating or 32 guests in horseshoe-style seating. This is a fantastic space for presentations and networking events.
Tornrummet meeting room can accommodate up to 12 people around a boardroom table. The room can be used for small presentations or meetings and comes fully equipped with a PC projector and sound system. Writing equipment can be provided upon request.
Organic and allergy-friendly food is provided throughout all conferences. Hot drinks including tea and coffee are available during meetings, as well as small nibbles to help keep attendees well-fuelled. Guests can also enjoy a drink at the hotel bar.
