Clarion Hotel® Mestari

We stayed at the Mestari for 4 nights. It is in a good position in Helsinki to reach most interesting parts of the city, restaurants and transport, on foot. We stayed in a standard room and it was not large, no cupboard space and little room to hang any clothes or unpack suitcases. It has an industrial motive which makes the place a little dark which we didn’t appreciate. Breakfasts were OK but unchanging other than some mornings seemed to have fresh whole fruit and other morning bereft of whole fruit. Nice and clean.

we love this hotel; great location, nice design, fantastic break fast,nice personels and really fantastic; i am sure that you will love it... close to city center and tram station and quiet place; clean rooms and comfort bedrooms and gooooood memories

Fantastic hotel with lovely helpful staff. Great location, 5-10 min walk to train station. We caught train there using the HSL app to buy ticket, caught taxi back to airport due to very early morning flight. Breakfast was wonderful, plenty of choices with a local feeling. Even included churros and pulled pork tacos!! Nice and clean with comfy bed. Didn’t like my pillows and I should have requested to change, just didn’t get around to doing it! Didn’t hear any noise from neighbours. Plenty cafe, restaurants and deli around. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel is central which helped us explore the city and reach easily shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, very well cleaned and the bathroom is spot-on. The staff is friendly and helpful and this is a plus as it felt like being home. We had to take the overnight train and they’re so organised to have luggage room where we could drop our suite cases and allow us to visit the city a bit more before embarking to our trip to Rovaniemi. We recommend this hotel and we’ll be back once in Helsinki.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. My family and I were impressed by the front desk staff's patience and professionalism. They were very attentive to our needs. Since our flight was early, the hotel thoughtfully packed breakfast for us to take on the go. The room was spacious and clean. Although the windows were sealed, it didn't detract from our overall positive experience. The location was convenient, just a short ten-minute walk from the central train station. There's a supermarket near the station where we could buy daily necessities and food. The locals were friendly, and we felt safe throughout our stay.
