Accessibility in public spaces
We have aimed to take accessibility into account, and our hotel can be accessed by wheelchair-accessible taxis. Additionally, there are several parking spots in front of the hotel where cars with disability permits can be parked. The reception area, meeting rooms, restaurant, and floors of the hotel are all easily accessible without high thresholds.
Wheelchair-accessible restroom facilities are located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the hotel's public areas, with widened doors to accommodate wheelchairs. These restrooms are equipped with emergency call systems and grab bars. In the hotel elevators, the buttons are equipped with braille, and the floors are announced in English audio. The width of the elevator door is 110cm. The meeting room View is equipped with induction loops.
Accessible hotel rooms
We have six accessible double hotel rooms, consisting of four Standard rooms, one Superior room, and one Junior Suite. The Standard rooms are available with either a double bed or two single beds. The bed height in each room category is 65 cm, the width of the room door is 90 cm. The bathrooms feature grab bars next to the shower and around the toilet seat, a shower chair, a handheld shower, shower products placed at a lower height for easy reach while seated, and a lowered hand basin (height 80 cm). Otherwise, the room facilities match the standard amenities of the respective room category.
An accessible Standard room can be connected with a neighboring Standard room via an adjoining door, allowing, for example, an assistant to stay in the adjoining room. To ensure an accessible room, please contact hotel reception cl.aviapolis@strawberry.fi.
