Clarion Hotel® Helsinki Airport

We stayed one night in Clarion Hotel. Hotel is brand new and all facilities are shining clean: PROS: Location is superb 30 meters from Airport Departure Hall. Views from your room to Runway. Rooms are a bit small but for 2 person no worries. Campaign sparkling wine waiting us in the room. CONS: Beer selection at the lobby is nothing special and their IPA was not good at all. Also beer prices from TAP are really expensive, better walk to Airport and drink there. First we thought that we eat at the 12th floor restaurant, but after I looked their menu online and found out that Pepper Steak was about 40 Euros / head. It might tasted good but overall menu prices were not for us. Breakfast was extensive even egg station, but somehow I felt that many dishes were made cheapest materials available. Sorry for my tastebuds are really demanding. Overall ok and you can start your day good. We will come back Strawberry Clarion hotel to sleep due the superb location.

Facility definitely served its purpose but it was much more comfortable and pleasant than anticipated, would have loved to have spent more time there

I just love everything about this hotel. The atmosphere, the comfort of the rooms, it's also very quiet: The gym is amazing and the restaurant and breakfast too. I'm travelling a lot and it's so good to relax in such a great hotel. Then you just go down the stairs and you are in the airport. So convenient! Very high standard. I can only recommend.

Arrived late and made very welcome both at reception and in the restaurant. Lovely large immaculately prepared room. What a joy after Heathrow and some sadly quite typical overpriced and overpromoted hotels in the Oxford area. We might even stay there again when we make one of our trips to Helsinki to see family!!

Really excellent hotel attached to the terminal. Signs point to Clarion/Comfort. They are separate hotels though. We arrived late and were made very welcome. Had an excellent late night snack in the restaurant where the service was immaculate. We had also managed to get a superior room at an opening special offer price. It was really large and comfortable but I'm sure the smaller rooms would be equally well appointed. Wasn't too keen on the breakfast area. A bit impersonal and of course in these days of Corona, buffets are somewhat hazardous with so many people handling and breathing onto the food. But we'll certainly stay again.
