Clarion Hotel® Helsinki Airport

I had a 8 hour transit before a connecting flight at midnight. Booked a standard room. Very clean and ok size. Staff were very friendly. Connected to the airport with great train link to city or taxi. Did not use any facilities but looked nice on arrival

We was being checkin to this hotel by Finnair due to our missed reconnecting flight. The hotel had a warm reception, clean rooms, and friendly staff. We were grateful that they allowed us to rest in the lounge lobby for a few hours before our flight without being rushed.

After a frustrating day of travel from Rovaniemi, flight cancellation and delays, we had thankfully (3 months prior) booked an airport hotel for an early flight to Vienna the next morning. Unfortunately, we’d accidentally booked the Clarion Aviapolis, which I’m sure is a very nice hotel, but you’ve got to train or taxi there since it’s 10 mins away. We just couldn’t face it, exhausted, with a wheelchair and 2 luggages. The front desk at this Clarion, which is directly connected to the airport, very kindly found us a room and we were up the lift and in the room within minutes. We did lose the money for the other hotel, even though they are both Clarion, we had booked via a third party. But it was worth it to make life easier. The room was gorgeous and so much space for the 3 of us. The sofa bed was already made which my son said was very comfortable. The main bed was a cloud of luxury and we loved watching the happenings on the runway through the snow. Bathroom a little small and a shower over a bath, not ideal for a wheelchair user, but beggars can’t be choosers. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Just be careful online which Clarion at Helsinki airport you choose.

This is an achingly efficient and wonderfully designed hotel matched only by the hand picked first class team- well done Obviously only really useful if youre at the airport - but its genuinelly worth considering as your city base regardless

We recently stayed at the Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport for a night before our flight and we were thoroughly impressed with this new and modern hotel. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made an excellent choice. The location was ideal, situated right next to the airport terminal, which made our travel plans a breeze. The access to the terminal was excellent, making it easy for us to check-in for our flight the following morning. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast buffet in the morning - a highlight of our stay! The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxing and perfect for a leisurely start to the day. We also had the chance to have drinks at the rooftop restaurant, which offered stunning views of the airport taxiways and runways. If I were to suggest an improvement, it would be to add more visible signs when arriving from the parking areas to guide guests to the hotel entrance. However, this minor quibble didn't detract from our overall positive experience. Overall, we highly recommend the Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport for its excellent location, modern facilities, and great service. We'll definitely stay here again if we have another flight to catch out of Helsinki!
