The Molja Lighthouse is a charming landmark and unique hotel room on the edge of the Ålesund harbour, just 5 minutes' walk from Hotel Brosundet. The remarkable building is steeped in history although it has of course been fitted with modern conveniences. The first floor features an elegant and fully equipped bathroom and you'll find a large bedroom with a custom-made bed that takes up half the room on the second floor! From the bed you'll enjoy amazing views of Godøya, the Atlantic and all the boats passing by outside.
All our guests at the Molja Lighthouse can look forward to a luxurious breakfast delivered to the door every morning. Enjoy your morning coffee on the steps of the lighthouse as you gaze out over the sea and beautiful Ålesund. If you prefer, you can of course eat breakfast with all the other guests at Hotel Brosundet.
While the 150 year-old Molja Lighthouse is now automated, the red and green lamps still guide the ships into the harbour.
