Clarion Hotel® Admiral

This hotel is in a great location overlooking the Bergen Harbor, and walking distance from everything. The room was quiet, spacious and well-appointed, although could have used a bit more lighting once the sun went down. We liked having a small balcony overlooking the harbor. The bathroom was very nice; the shower was kind of small but manageable. The included breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this fabulous hotel many times, it is without doubt our "go to" hotel in downtown Bergen - for all the right reasons. For starters, the front desk staff is incredible attentive and kind - and I must mention Pernille as a standout. She is always smiling, always in a wonderful mood and always with a good laugh -- she just takes care of the small and big stuff-with such ease and willingness. . She makes you feel like family, every time, and it is so very welcoming to see her behind the front desk when we arrive when we arrive good and tired from our inbound flights from the U.S.A. She alone would be reason enough to stay here, but others at the front desk (Sarah) also shows that they really care. Rooms and beds are very nice, and the breakfasts - ahhhh- how enjoyable to take that morning hour with fresh and plentiful and varied breakfast foods. The staff in the breakfast room, who constantly cleans up or empty dishes, do so with a smile and with warmth, with a nod and a welcoming smile-all the time. Do yourself a favor and stay at this wonderful hotel and it will be my prediction that you as well will find your permanent happy place by the water in downtown historic Bergen and even feel like you may have just visited family for a few days.

Hotel was in the perfect location in promixity to the fjord , the fish market , Old Town , and restaurant areas ....very easy to reach from the light railway that goes from the airport to Bergen Central .....extremely cheerful and enthusiastic reception staff , clean and comfortable rooms with big bathroom and lovely selection of creams .....breakfast was outstanding with something for everyone , particularly recommend the overnight oats , Salmon and the natural juices ....highly recommend this hotel

Had a great stay at the Clarion! We were in a good size room unfortunately though another hotel that still have nowhere for suitcases to actually go. Bed was large and very comfy. TV in a strange position to the left. Tea and coffee in room, very nice modern bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect location, walkable to everything. Close to shops, restaurants, fortress. Breakfast was included and had a very good selection to satisfy most people. We recommend this hotel.

My wife and I had a one night stay to join our cruise.The room was adequate and in a good location with some restaurants and a supermarket.Well done,vilda,our hotel receptionist.A very helpful and pleasant lady.We would recommend this hotel to anyone to start their adventure in Norway.
