Comfort Hotel® Bergen

Lots of highlights with this lovely hotel. Great location - 10 mins walk from centre of town. Peaceful location close to the sea/harbour, our room was on the front corner of the hotel building with a view of the harbour (albeit there is a building in the way but still a nice view!) Parking is available- we had hired an SUV which was possible to park in the underground car park but it is very tight getting in and out of the car park. A smaller vehicle is better if you require hotel parking. The room was nice- a little rough around the edges and could do with a fresh paint and carpet but still very pleasant. Bathroom and shower temperature and flow were both very nice. No kettle in the room but a hot water tap is available downstairs. Hotel seems environmentally conscious- recycling bins available in reception. Nice decor downstairs in the bar / breakfast area. The breakfast was delicious. Plenty of choice. Also the bar in the reception was very quirky, a nice touch. WiFi was good, hardly ever dropped out. I would recommend staying here for the comfort (no pun intended) and location. A very nice hotel with all the amenities required.

Nice room, the standard is good with a minimalistic and modern design. The view however (in my room) at least, is not extraordinary, you might say! On the other hand, I mostly just slept - and for the price, I actually found it better than expected! The bed was ok, no more, no less! Personally, I loved the interior, lighting and such. Breakfast, in my opinion was really good! A lot of variety - you have the options from healthy, to "normal" to an " (almost) American breakfast", with pancakes.

Taxi back to the hotel, in increasingly bad weather. Mobile left in taxi. Full panic half an hour later. Down to the reception, explaining the distress to the receptionist. Calm and cool, asking the right questions to me, finding the actual taxi driver (!) and getting the mobile delivered three (!!!) minutes later. The taxi driver refused getting any tip for this. Service, you know. Those two guys restored my faith in humanity in a matter of minutes. (for the management of the hotel, this was the night shift guy from 24th to 25th of January 2025. He made me truly happy.) And for Bergen taxi: wow!

Well located hotel in the city centre. Nice, clean room, even though somehow dark. My only complain is only to have a pillows for myself

I have visited Comfort Hotel Bergen several times over the last 12 months and is always very pleased with the service and the room. Highly recommendable for those who a safe and efficient hotel when they visit Bergen
