Comfortable and big hotel closer to Bergen Airport than to the centre of Bergen. I stayed from Friday to Sunday for a conference. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean - and I mean absolutely spotless. The staff I met were all very sweet, but the waiter in the restaurant and the stand-in bartender had little or no knowledge about the food and drinks. The breakfast and lunch buffets were fine. The meat dishes we had for 2 dinners were acceptable.

I had bought tickets for a convention being held at the hotel. The people responsible for the convention had arranged a special discount for participants, 15% discounts on rooms for the time of the convention. I checked the link with the discount and the strawberryhotels page, and the latter was still cheaper. I first contacted customer service, who assured me that there must be some mistake, but that I had to talk to the hotell directly. I (finally) get a hold of the hotell, and more rude and lacking service would be hard to find. They told me that I can just order through the strawberryhotels page, since that was cheaper. Completely ignoring the fact that they basically lied to all the participants of the convention. No apologies or explanation. This hotell just continues to disappoint, so if you have other options, take them.

Quite a huge building and many rooms. So is lobby area quite big . Room is cozy with all required facility like hair dryer and magnifying mirror. Bed is ok. Breakfast is sufficiently spread to give required food. Staff is courteous. Alas they have no swimming pool.

Modern and comfortable hotel with friendly staff, and great breakfast buffet. Quiet and delicate room made it easy to relax & recharge. Located slightly off the beaten track, but perfect if you're traveling by car.
