Wood Hotel Bodø is the most sustainable resort in northern Norway! Built almost entirely from wood and with a facade that blends into the landscape, the hotel is a wonderful sight on Mount Rønvik (Rønvikfjellet) just outside Bodø. The hotel offers stunning views of the majestic mountains, the glistening sea and the town in the valley below. We do our utmost to provide guests with a fabulous stay and amazing dining experiences in this beautiful natural setting. The hotel features 145 rooms, 30 apartments, various restaurants and excellent conference facilities!
Sustainable construction
The green transition must be taken seriously all the way from the construction of a building to its final energy consumption – and Wood Hotel Bodø is dedicated to this cause! The use of wood instead of steel and concrete has reduced the carbon footprint of the construction process by up to 45%. The hotel also has solar panels on the roof and is thus able to generate its own energy. Even the interior design primarily features Norwegian furnishings in order to minimise transportation emissions.
Beautiful surroundings & spacious facilities

There is a gym and wellness area on the top floor featuring a sauna, rooftop terrace and outdoor pool, and the hotel also has a lovely bar and restaurant, as well as flexible conference facilities for both large events and smaller gatherings. The popular Turisthytta (tourist hut), which has been a starting point and attraction for hikers in the area, has been incorporated into the lobby concept with a lovely café and a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere!
