Quality Hotel™ Strand has partnered with the VY Gjøvikbanen railway to offer conference guests comfortable travel from Oslo to Gjøvik, essentially arriving right on the doorstep of the hotel! Companies can even book entire carriages on the for the trip up north! You’ll have your own designated train host who will welcome you on the platform and guide you to your seat, before ensuring that everyone is comfortable and offering plenty of refreshments during the journey! The train has an onboard internet connection and each seat has a power socket at every seat.
Conference guests can also get good discounts on train tickets! The offer is available for groups of 20 people or more. Please contact us via email and we will provide you with a unique proposal for your next event.

We have seven modern conference rooms and three cinema rooms suitable for all kinds of events! All our meeting rooms feature modern AV equipment, air conditioning and free WiFi for the ultimate conference experience!
The hotel is in the same building as the Gjøvik Cultural Centre, providing access to large venues for big conferences. The largest cinema room can accommodate up to 500 people, and the two smaller rooms can fit up to 130 and 80 people respectively.
Mustad can accommodate up to 300 people with theatre seating, and features a large stage for presentations and entertainment! The layout can be adjusted to suit your event. The space can be divided into two rooms for 90 and 70 people respectively.
We have two medium-sized meeting rooms here at the hotel. Glassverket can accommodate up to 50 peoplew with classroom seating, while Niels Ødegaard can fit up to 40 people. The layouts of these can be adapted to suit your specific needs.
We have 4 rooms that are suitable for small meetings with boardroom seating – Angelo (max. 8 people), Mjøsen (max. 16 people), Skibladner and Hunton (max. 18 people each).
Snacks including fruits, pastries, ice cream and popcorn as well as coffee, tea and water are provided throughout the conference free of charge. These little snacks are the perfect things to nibble on for a boost of energy during the day.
