The Clarion Collection Hotel Astoria enjoys an ideal location in central Hamar, an hour's drive away from Oslo's biggest airport, Gardermoen. The hotel has 135 lovely rooms and conference facilities for up to 70 people.

Meetings and conferences
Our conference centre has four meeting rooms with capacity for up to 70 people with theatre seating. The meeting rooms are located on the first floor of the hotel. All of them have windows to allow in plenty of natural light and there is free WiFi available throughout the hotel. We have everything you need to host a successful event here at the hotel! Discover Hamar
There's plenty to do in Hamar no matter what time of year it is. Enjoy a walk along the beach promenade where you'll find the famous diving tower, visit the Hedmark Museum and explore the ruins of the old cathedral that back to the 13th century and are protected by a beautiful glass structure. You'll also find a great climbing park here at Domkirkeodden ("Cathedral Point"). The nearby Norwegian Railway Museum is also a popular attraction for families. During the summer season, you can board the "Skibladner" for an unforgettable trip on one of the world's oldest paddle steamers still in operation. Hamar has a great urban vibe with plenty of eateries and shops. There is a rich cultural life here too with a variety of festivals.
Get out into nature
Hamar offers many opportunities to enjoy the stunning natural surroundings with many hiking trails and great fishing waters. There are some lovely areas to walk or jog around Lake Mjøsa, and Hamar is a great starting point for both short and long bike rides. Hamar is also an ideal destination for hikers all the year round, with numerous trails just 15-20 minutes' drive from the town centre.
Parking
Those of you arriving by car can park on the streets near the hotel or in the "Østre Torg" parking garage.
We also have fee parking in our secure courtyard for those coming to the hotel by bike or motorcycle. Simply contact the reception before you arrive and we'll tell you more when you arrive.
