Hi I am writing to express my concerns about the quality of food at your hotel, where I have been staying regularly over the past year, accommodated by my company. Despite numerous requests for improvement, the quality of meals still does not meet the expected hotel standards, or even those of a basic staff canteen. The issues I have encountered include: - Moldy bread and undercooked potatoes. - Lack of dessert variety - only jelly and pudding served alternately for two weeks, both of dubious taste. - Roasted mushrooms served every day without alternatives. - Monotonous breakfasts where the only main dish is scrambled eggs. - No main course for guests arriving 15 minutes after dinner starts, forcing them to eat leftovers from the previous day or wait for the chef to quickly prepare something. - Roasted onions added to give the impression of more dishes, which does not improve the quality. - Occasionally cold dishes. - Ground meat of questionable quality, sometimes with a strange smell. After 12 hours of hard work, I would like to have a warm and tasty meal in peace. Unfortunately, for the first time in many years of working on projects in Norway, I have to eat outside the hotel, at a nearby pizzeria, because some dishes are simply inedible. If it were a short, one- or two-day stay, the problem would not be so severe. However, eating this way several times a year for a period of two weeks is simply unacceptable. I would like to emphasize that I have no complaints about the cleanliness of the rooms, the staff's work, or the overall standard of the hotel. My concerns are solely about the quality of the food. I kindly ask you to address this matter urgently.

I travelled and stayed here for an event which came with a small price subsidy. The room was pretty spacious for one person (room 475), I had no complaints really. A mini fridge and kettle which I made good use of during my 4 day stay. The gym was small but had a small sauna which I used on a couple of occasions. Breakfast was actually great and other hotels should be aspiring to this as a good standard. Buffet style with variety of stations for omelettes, pancake etc, but more importantly for me as an intolerant for gluten and lactose its the first place I've stayed with a clear labelling and alternatives available and on display. GF breads and also GF sweet treats in the allergen corner (macarons, chocolate tart) and lots of plant milks and LF cheese. I was actually impressed with the variety of GF cakes in the bakery and GF foods in the supermarket around the corner. Cafe Rene next to the hotel also had a pretty great GF burger! Nordics are leading the way with intolerant eating which I like to see!

An undermaintained 70s time capsule. More a museum than anything else.

This is a 70s capsule. It’s rooms are old fashioned and basic. I have stayed a few times and there is always something niggling and wrong. It is clean and staff are friendly and cheerful as they face customers paying top dollar for an average product. I will trying other hotels when I visit again.

This hotel is located on the water front. Only a short stroll from bryggen I’m downtown Haugesund. Family rooms were spacious enough for a family of 4. Our room was clean upon arrival. Room can get a little warm in the afternoon, we did hear or feel AC come on but the temperature outside didn’t range above 62 degrees during our stay. The bathroom had little space for our toiletries for a 3 day stay but we managed. Staff in the Gallion restaurant was friendly and always welcomed us with a smile. They were exceptionally attentive although quite busy during our stay. Cold and hot breakfast served with an extensive variety to suit all. We are likely to stay again if in the area.

Me and my wife had an appointment at the hospital in Haugesund and needed a room. This was the last room and it was a family room. 2 single beds that can make a double bed. And 1 bunk bed. It was a very nice and spacious room and the toilet was nice too. There was a conference here this week “floating wind” so that’s why we got the last room Available in Haugesund. Then we come to the breakfast. Omg this was the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever been to. And there even was a lady who was making French toast and American style pancakes. “yummy in my tummy” There was even fresh honeycomb and homemade salted caramel spread. I am officially blown away. Want to come back again.
