The Clarion Hotel Ernst is a modern hotel with an interesting history, right in the centre of Kristiansand. This was once the city's only hotel and the interiors have been beautifully decorated with contemporary art.
Our breakfast buffet features a variety of hot and cold dishes with lots of healthy, local and organic produce. Breakfast is always included in your room rate.
Monday – Friday: 6.30am – 9:30amWeekends & bank holidays: 7:30am – 11amPlease note that breakfast times vary during the summer months and on bank holiday weekends. Contact the hotel for current opening hours.
External guests are welcome to come and enjoy breakfast here at the hotel whenever they like.
Those of you arriving by car can park in our private garage for 290 NOK/24h. Please note that spaces are limited, so please contact us in advance to make a reservation.

Bring along your best friend! Pets are more than welcome at our hotel, and can stay with you in your room for 300 NOK per stay, or 400 NOK per stay for two pets or more. Guide dogs are exempt of charges, but please make sure to bring the required certification. You should also contact us when you book your stay so that we can reserve a pet-friendly room for you.
You can order room service or takeaway food and beverages using a QR code in your room.
Monday - Saturday: 5pm – 10pm
Relax in your room after a long day at work or out shopping! We offer a selection of TV channels, with everything from news and sports to films and TV-series. There's no extra cost for this when you stay with us – it's all included in the room rate.
All our hotel rooms and communal areas have free wireless Internet for our guests. You can pick up the network code from reception. If you are a member of our Strawberry, you can easily log in using your Strawberry number. If you're travelling without your laptop or smartphone we have iMacs available for your convenience. If you need to print something we'll be happy to help.
