Clarion Hotel® Oslo

Valet parking is definitely needed. The charging system in the parking area was tricky. After a long drive, we were looking for a toilet, and although we both work in IT and are used to portals and accounts, we couldn’t get the charger to work. On top of that, support for the charging system didn’t answer the phone. As we were in a hurry, we didn’t have time to return to the garage and move the car to another spot, so our Saturday was essentially ruined. We had to spend extra time finding a working charger and then charging the car. To top it off, the garage cost 740 SEK. On the positive side, the hotel was great—fresh, clean, with great air conditioning and comfortable bed linens. We had a small issue with the coffee machine, which made me feel like an IT illiterate for a moment, but we found it comical. After spending just five minutes in the room, we went out into the Oslo night and had a fantastic time. When we returned, we were happy with the hotel. The water in the shower heated up instantly, which was unusual and a pleasant surprise. The staff were very friendly and helpful at breakfast, creating a great atmosphere. The Slavic man who made our omelettes was fantastic, the Asian lady who made our coffee was very nice and professional, and the omelette maker’s brother (perhaps?) provided delicious food. The Asian waitress was kind and helpful, and the young Norwegian woman at checkout was very friendly. Overall, the staff was excellent, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the parking garage did impact the overall experience. We had to search for a charger on the way to Holmenkollen on Saturday, as the one in the garage didn’t work. However, that issue is separate from the hotel itself. It would have been great if the hotel offered valet parking, as we would have gladly paid extra for it. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay.

Fabulous hotel, lovely modern contemporary room and bathroom . Best ever breakfast spread. Good value as well. If I could give 6 stars I would. If you are staying in Oslo this is the hotel. Previously we stayed in the Grand Hotel Oslo which was very poor so we were expecting another tied dirty hotel we pleasantly surprised!

The hotel is at a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast spread is great.

Absolutely cero complaints on the stay at Clarion Hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly, the room was just amazing, in front of many barcode offices. Location is great, very good to move around Oslo with the tram right outside the door and tourist atractions from 5~10 minutes away. The breakfast options are amazing, it's a bit annoying that you need to wait 15 minutes to get a latte, would prefer the machine without the barista. Would definiltely like to stay here again.

This is located 10 minutes from the Central station and 3 blocks from the Opera House. There is a tram station just outside. A shout out to the lady at the reception who helped us, although we had booked a suite, there was a miscommunication from the booking agent side and it was not communicated that there was a child booked also. She immediately sorted out the matter. The breakfast spread is excellent, although there is a coffee machine, you can request for fresh coffee made by a barista at your table. This place is also 10 min away from the main shopping district of Oslo.
