Clarion Hotel® Oslo

We went with 2 adult children and their partners. Rooms were excellent, beds perfect, staff helpful and smiling, and breakfast so good, who could wish for a better start of the day than omelets made on demand and a smiling barista at the counter? Cannot fault this hotell on anything. All six of us hope to be back shortly.

The lady on the front desk, Isabel was fantastic. We booked in easily. More importantly we needed to see a doctor. Isabel booked the appointment quickly and got an appointment in a good time. She is excellent, a great credit your business. She was so helpful.

the room temperature was cold. turning up the thermostat to 24 degrees Celsius gave zero effect. the bathroom floor was freezing. it seemed like the receptionist was aware of the problem. the TV screen is too big and too close to the bed. the way the room was furnished looked good but was very impractical.

Service good. Kind employers. Rooms clean and good bed. Reasturant and bars good. Breakfast was exelent.

Excellent hotel for a business trip: great location that was handy for the central train station and metro, modern interior, amazing gym (seriously, I wish that all hotels could have a gym like this), and the breakfast centralised up to the high expectations set by the friendly reception staff. All of this for a fair price, especially by Oslo standards. Would definitely here again next time I was in Oslo. So why only four stars: my room was dark! There were no main lights in the room, just a corner lamp which made it difficult to pack on a dark early morning. And while the hotel was mainly clean, I did find hairs that were not mine on the bathroom wall and in the corner or the room.
