Comfort Hotel® Xpress Youngstorget

My family stayed for a night in a family room. We needed to be close to the station due to a super early departure the next morning, so I thought it could not be too bad. WRONG! What a disaster. The two bunk beds are NOT designed for sleeping. The mattresses are truly atrocious (some soft bouncy MESS that even a kid can not sleep on), and the whole feel to the room is that of a cheap dorm. I do not think either of us slept at all, though we tried hard. On top of everything we were given a room facing some theater (or music hall), so at roughly midnight all those people poured out after the show, which amplified the unbearable catastrophe of an experience. Never again for me. This may be an option for a backpacker looking for a place to crash, bit even though need some sleep comfort. This place ain't got it. AT ALL!

Really nice city location Hotel in the heart of Oslo..... excellent friendly staff, very clean and tidy Hotel. Stayed here for 3 nights in October with my wife on a long weekend and we can't compliment the hotel enough. A very professional set up which was extremely clean and professional, all staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough to help you. Central to Oslo city centre, with everything you need within walking distance, The room wasn't huge but was very nice & very cosy, a perfect size for two people staying, a very modern room, which was beautiful. We would definitely recommend.

I thought the hotel was generally okay. The service from the staff was incredibly good. Cleanliness was excellent. The only downside was that I got a room on the 4th floor with a view of a basement instead of outside.

Traveled here in connection with the Kygo concert and booked via hotels.com. Earlier the same week, we called the hotel and informed them that there would be three people instead of two in the triple room. We were told this was no problem. When we turn up at the reception, we are told that the booking was cancelled. The receptionist, who was supposed to add an extra person earlier in the week, canceled the booking with no warning. Whereas in the hotels.com app the order was as usual and we did not get any warning. After a lot of back and forth at the reception (they tried to charge more than what was communicated via hotels.com plus a 200 NOK charge of an extra pers), we paid and got checked in. We were told by the receptionist that we were given a triple room with three single beds. Our booking stated a queen size and a single bed. Did not bother to take this discussion and went to the room. We had been offered a room with only a double bed. When we notify the reception, we did not even get an apology. But we did get a new room that corresponded to our booking. In addition, one of our traveling companions was locked in the toilet downstairs due to zero notice that the toilet was out of order. Steer away!

Great location at an affordable price. The hotel is located centrally allowing you to walk to many attractions in Oslo. The decor is nice and modern utilising space well. The main lobby is very cool for meeting up or gathering before the days activities with a trendy vibe. There was some construction outside which meant there was more dust/noise than usual however they placed us in rooms conveniently away from this (there was no noise in the night time anyway).
