THE THIEF offers a selection of completely different and unique suites.
Junior suite
The junior suite is perfect if you're looking for some extra elbow room. The art is hand-picked, just like the rest of the hotel. The suite has a large separate bedroom and a beautiful white Vittorio marble bathroom with a bath and separate rainforest shower. Features such as the down covers and pillows from Høie, the bathrobe designed for THE THIEF from Maggie Wonka, and plaid blanket from Røros Tweed will ensure your comfort.
The Apparatjik Suite
Let visual art, music, disco fabrics and art installations by supergroup Apparatjik add to your overall hotel experience!
This is one of the most unique hotel suites in Oslo, specially designed by the artist collective and supergroup Apparatjik (with members from A-HA, Coldplay and Mew) and interior designer Karina Holmen. This suite is THE THIEF in a nutshell. Exclusive and stylish, a symbiosis between the best of the art world. Disco fabrics, visual art, prints, pixelated rugs and a vinyl turntable are just some of the suite's features.
The Oslo Suite
The Oslo Suite is THE THIEF's pride and joy. The suite (160 m2) with private roof terrace, offers tailor-made hotel design. The possibilities are endless here; open fire, bar, separate bedroom, dining room and walk-in closet. If 160 m2 feels a bit cramped, there's a connecting door to the adjoining suites.
All of the furniture and décor is by top Norwegian and international designers. But the most prominent artist has to be Sir Peter Blake, best known for having designed the cover of the Beatles' famous album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. This suite is named after his art project, The Oslo Suite, and three of his original collages adorn the walls. The works are inspired by Norwegian sights. The suite's private roof terrace offers 360˚ views and exclusive furniture designed by Patricia Urquiola and Antonio Citterio. Even from inside The Oslo Suite you feel like you're on Oslo's rooftop – almost floating out above the fjord – with spectacular views through the huge panoramic windows.
