The porcelain factory is about 20 minutes' walk away from the Comfort Hotel Porsgrunn, so make sure to bag yourself a great deal when you have some time to spare.

In case you're looking for something to do with your family (we understand that kids + porcelain may not be the best combo...) then we can strongly recommend a visit to the DuVerden Maritime Museum + Science Centre located just across the river.
