Clarion Collection® Hotel Tapetfabriken is located in Sickla, a district where the industrial heritage is felt in everything from architecture to the curious and exploratory atmosphere that is so typical for the area. There is a restaurant and a bar, including an outdoor area that is a popular hangout for both hotel guests and locals. An evening meal and afternoon coffee ("fika") are always included in the room rate for an extra homely feel!
A hotel housed in an old wallpaper factory
Old and new design elements are beautifully combined at Clarion Collection® Hotel Tapetfabriken. The building itself dates back to 1906 and was once home to a wallpaper factory, and many of the old brick walls have been preserved. The idea is to bring together traditional manufacturing and the industrial revolution with the present day! The interior design consists of decorative elements and minimalistic materials, all while a warm and comfortable impression with sophisticated elegance permeates the hotel. The hotel also offers a gym and a sauns, both with some fabulous views of Marcusplatsen.

Södermalm & shopping within easy reach
The hotel is situated right on Marcusplatsen in Sickla, a green oasis within easy reach of interesting shops and charming restaurants. There is plenty of parking and public transport nearby, both towards Södermalm and out to Solsidan. It's less than 10 minutes by bus to Slussen, you can walk to Södermaln and Stockholm Central Station is only 20 minutes away by bus and metro.

For those who enjoy getting out into nature, there is lots for you to explore here in Sickla. You can do some cycling, kayaking in the Sickla Lake or running in the Nacka Nature Reserve. Or how about some padel on the nearby outdoor courts? The Hammarbybacken is also within easy reach, providing a great destination for some skiing in the city and plenty of other activities throughout the rest of the year. You'll also find a climbing wall and indoor golf in Sickla. All you have to do is decide what to try first!
