Quality Hotel™ Grand Falun

The room is little noisy due to the external noise, adjacent room noise and from the front door. There was a cold initially. Reported to the reception. They fixed with additional heater which is really nice. There are renovation yet to finish in March 2025

It's amazing to give such a good impression on me with an ongoing renovation. but I give First Hotel Falun 5 out of 5. Fantastic staff who gave me advice on more suitable room. Clean and Quiet just like I wanted. Access to coffee, tea and fruit at the reception. The breakfast which gets 10 out of 10 from me who is so difficult to flirt with. I have probably never tasted such good coffee as at this hotel, the dining room is like a museum with all the fantastic paintings from 1930, so many details that lift the whole experience of starting this day well. renovation begins to be noticeable in terms of sound from 08:00. Highly recommended, trust the staff, enjoy the coffee and the atmosphere.

Inside the toilet seat bowl was very dirty, I had to scrub down in the toilet bowl still all the dirty remain. We could hardly seat on the toilet seat because of the so visible dirty and using the bathroom was not any good experience because of the dirty toilet. Nice staff in the restaurant.

Great place, close to the bus and railwaystation, very kind staff. Shopping area, supermarkets nearby. I would recommend the hotel for both family and business trips. The room is cosy, food is excellent. A very nice hotel in the city center.

We had a wonderful stay! The staffs are friendly and helpful specially the staff in the reception who made a big effort to arrange a surprise for my son's 6th bday. She managed to communicate to the breakfast staff (on a Sunday night) about our son's birthday and everyone has given an extra mile of service by fixing a reserved table decorated with balloons and a reserved sign with my son's name. He was really happy and it meant alot to us. The food in their ala carte menu are highly recommended! Compliment to the chef! The location was also good. Close to the center so it is easy to move around for a stroll. Breakfast buffet has also good varieties. And yes! An added bonus is we got to see the northern lights from our room!
