Clarion Hotel® Draken

Fantastic beds and rooms - but they have the most horrible breakfast system; nowhere in the booking of the stay was it mentioned, that breakfast had to be booked in a specific timeslot! All other guests arriving early had booked all the timeslots for breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12. Meaning you'd had to get up early on a sunday to enjoy your prepaid breakfast. I'm never going to Hotel Clarion Drake again! I will specifically discourage others of booking hotel stays with those types of breakfast systems.

The Draken is quite new and is at a place, where you can reach everything in Gothenburg quite easy. But the hotel has seriously problems with their staff, rooms are not cleaned as they should. Feedback results only partly in change, some feedback is simply not lead to a change. The breakfast area was designed for a hotel which is only planned for half of the guests, which makes it feel like in a translation, especially when the cleaning staff is placing the guests instead of cleaning the tables to create more space.

Wonderful, cozy hotel close to the city center with nice rooms with lovely beds and bedding. Helpful and friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Nice with many different seating areas on the ground floor where you could hang out and relax, we visited the bar and had both lunch and evening drinks. I had booked 3 larger rooms for us and our friends and everyone got corner rooms on floor 15 which we were super happy with,We must not forget to mention the breakfast hostess Mariatou who did a fantastic job of making everyone feel welcome at breakfast and she was so efficient with the staff that it would be cleared away when the guest/guests had finished eating so that tables would quickly become free. Thank you Mariatuo, more people like you in the world :)

The hotel I rather knew and very comfortable. Nice and friendly staff who really make en effort to make you feel welcomed and attended. Excellent breakfast. Rooms are "modern small" but very comfortable. Nice and clean. At this stage access to the hotel is limited due to road work. No parking at the hotel.

This hotel is as amazing: such great value for money. It had everything you needed and more. The hotel is very central. The breakfast is incredible, would definitely come back. The rooms were really lovely, beds super comfortable. The staff were so polite
