Clarion Hotel® Karlatornet

Clarion Karlatornet, the latest Strawberry Hotel in Gothenburg, is new, but that's enough, isn't it?Rooms are offered here in a high-rise building next to the stately Karlatornet.Heard one or two in the check-in queue and was amazed when they thought the residents were in the skyscraper.(There is a floor belonging to the hotel there, but the Gothenburg fog sabotages the fun).We are assigned a room with a view of the parking lot. The room has the Swedish character, compact living, a new modernity that is spreading.Nothing for above average volume guests.But new and fresh, and furnished with standard furniture.Relatively small communal areas, spa of a simpler kind and a lobby bar.An annoyance was the shower, which has no walls around it, so now the whole bathroom is wet, you feel sorry for the cleaning staff.The location is far from downtown, but fulfills its function if you dislike driving in Gothenburg, and everyone who has tried does.

Best hotel I have stayed in. The decor in the rooms is warm and Scandinavian. The staff is amazing, especially one girl in the breakfast room. Located in an area that is under construction, but with the boat you are quickly in central Gothenburg.

We were disappointed. The hotel is not in Karlatornet! It is in a building on the side looking out over a parking lot. In the picture, it is the brown building. The room was nice, but very small. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good, but overall we felt tricked. When in Gothenburg, I would rather stay at Draken, where you can a fantastic view over the city and stay very central.

Februari Osäkert möte vid incheck Hon sa summan jag skulle betala, jag sa jag har redan betalt. Jaha säger hon borde ha koll på sånt innan, Sen frågar jag om jag kunde ha utcheck kl 12.00. Ja mot en summa säger hon, säger att jag är guldmedlem jaha okej säger hon.. Hon hade ju inte kollat något innan när hon fått min legitimation. Så detta kändes inte så proffsigt. Städningen på rummet kunde vara bättre. Creme bruleen är riktigt god och frukosten finns mycket pålägg att välja på. Bra med kylskåp på rummet. Mars Bra med incheck redan klockan 14 av trevliga Josefine. Rummet var okej storlek. Frukosten mycket att välja på och god fika.

Ett helt underbart boende.. rent och snyggt med trevlig personal.. och vilken utsikt alltså.. men med några frågor. Jag ser problemen med att putsa fönster på våning 58… men det måste finnas en lösning. När kameran fokuserar fel just på grund därav så… Och vidare.. även frukosten var fantastisk med ett överflöd av det mesta.. gott. Men jag hade förväntat mig kallrökt lax där. En aldrig så god laxsallad kan inte ersätta. För övrigt en gång till, ett fantastiskt boende.
