The official world championship in obstacle course racing, hosted by Tough Viking, the Swedish Athletics Federation, and Göteborg & Co, will take place in Slottsskogen, Gothenburg. The start and finish areas will be located at Slottsskogsvallen, creating a world-class arena for both participants and spectators. The races will also be accessible for fans to follow throughout Slottsskogen, where much of the course will be set.
The championship is expected to attract thousands of participants and visitors from around the world, making it one of the largest OCR events in Swedish history. Athletes from 140 nations will gather to compete for glory on a course that offers everything from technical obstacles to physical endurance – all in the heart of one of Gothenburg’s most beloved parks.
