Here you can see architectural features characteristic of 1909, and its location is truly idyllic right next to Norre Katts Park. In addition to breakfast, we always offer our guests complimentary fika and an evening meal.

We serve a delicious buffet breakfast every morning and this is of course included in the price of your room. All our guests can also enjoy our daily fika, as well as our evening meal. A night spent with us at Clarion Collection Hotel Norre Park is a night spent with Halmstad's history and culture. The atmosphere is characteristic of the house's century-old history, and some rooms have original ceilings from the early 1900s. Photographic art is displayed all over the hotel depicting the local and very beautiful Norre Katts Park. From time to time we organise exhibitions and openings with local artists.

From cooperage to hotel
The hotel has a long and diverse history. The house was built in 1907 and over the years a great many businesses have been located here including market hall, cinema, cooperage and sports shop. In the 1960s the hotel was run by the eccentric Maybritt Lorentzon, known for her good food, many poodles and liberated lifestyle.
