Easy-access facilities and rooms
Right from the moment guests check in, there are facilities to help those with disabilities, such as a reception desk with a lower section and a holder for walking sticks or crutches. There are also plenty of places to sit down if you need to. You can also find a range of board games in the lobby that suit people with different disabilities. Even the restaurant bar has a lower section, and meeting rooms feature low thresholds or none at all. If you require a hotel room to suit your specific needs, you can choose from 12 fully disability-adapted rooms, and 11 rooms without thresholds and shower cubicles, all for better access.
Guests with impaired vision
The hotel features so-called tactile flooring (Tactile Flooring by Matting) and you can use an app to guide you to the reception, restaurant and elevators. Guide dogs are of course more than welcome to stay with you in your room, and we will provide them with a blanket and a water bowl.
In our restaurant, you can use Blipsay to listen to menus with a QR code. We also have three hotel rooms that are fully adapted to guests with visual impairments.
Guests with impaired hearing
The reception can provide you with special alarm clocks with extra loud signals and a vibrating function that will wake you in case of a fire. Conference guests with impaired hearing can use the headset equipment in our largest meeting rooms. We also have a portable headset that can be fitted elsewhere if required. There are three specially adapted rooms to suit guests with impaired hearing featuring flash light technology.
Allergies
You needn't worry if you have allergies. We can provide gluten and lactose-free products upon request, and our chefs are more than happy to cater for special dietary requirements. We also use perfume-free detergents at the hotel.
