Worth coming to see during the day. but bc of the horrible hospitality I'd say consider staying with one of the other companies nearby that offer tours and activities.

This was one of the best hotels I have been to. They have a lot to offer, you can plan small or longer trips. You need to try the icebar, amazing drinks served in ice cups. The activities they have are amazing. I personally recommend trying the Night Safari on Snowmobiles and Dog sledding during the day they take you through the wilderness via the frozen Thorne river.. They provide you good gears so you will be warm enough. The ice rooms are marvelous. Vegitarians do not worry they have good food for you plan it let them know in advance when you book your activities. Also plan in advance, the hotel and activities are booked well in advance. Definitely worth every penny.

The Ice Hotel cold rooms are definitely an experience to be tried if only the once. We were actually very snug in our sleeping bags and the staff were extremely nice and explained everything very well. We stayed in warm room the next night which was really good. The bed was very soft and comfortable. While we were here we did a Husky Mushing experience and Snowmobile Driving experience to see the Northern lights, both of which were great. All in all a great trip.

A wonderful experience! We stayed in a warm room but got to enjoy the cold rooms prior to check in. Staff were all very friendly and always willing to help. Majority of staff are working a season but all share wonderful stories of ‘home’. We ate at the homestead down the road and the food was wonderful. We booked a husky sled tour via the hotel when we arrived, and this was genuinely the most incredible experience. We were lucky enough to be the only two people booked on to the tour and the lady guiding the tour was a credit to the company. Would definitely recommend and can’t speak highly enough of how enjoyable this was.

We were a group of friends, we spent 1 night in a cold room followed by 1 night in a warm room. Followed the instructions provided for cold room and were pleasantly warm through the night and slept well! Experienced the sauna ritual excursion which was great, would happily recommend stay and experience to friends
