The Clarion Collection Hotel Carlscrona takes inspiration from the city of Karlskrona and its exciting history. The hotel has a wonderfully personal approach, helping guests feel at home right from the start. We also offer breakfast, fika and an evening meal every day.

The hotel

The beautiful glass façade of the hotel has made it a real landmark in Karlskrona. Our inner courtyard features a patio and garden area, and the restaurant building is a former warehouse that was built in the 1800s and used as a storage site for local merchants. The hotel buildings imitate the warehousing depots that were located on Skeppsbrokajen during the 1700s.

Location

Karlskrona is host to Sweden's naval base and has a wonderfully rich history. The city has been on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1998. The hotel enjoys a beautiful location by Skeppsbrokajen in the heart of the city, right next to the sea. From here, it's only a few minutes' walk to Karlskrona C Central Station where you'll find excellent transport links, as well as an airport shuttle that also stops right outside the hotel. You'll also be within easy reach of excellent shops and the World Heritage attractions.

Hotel rooms

All our comfortable rooms are beautifully furnished featuring natural tones, designer furniture and colourful accessories inspired by Karlskrona. There are a variety of pictures of the city's founder Karl XI and trunks linked to the area's commercial history.

Meals

We certainly do our best to make you feel at home during your stay. All our guests can therefore enjoy fika every afternoon and a complimentary light evening meal between 6pm - 8pm every evening. That way you never have to worry about where to go for dinner, because there'll always be something to eat "at home".

Relaxation corner and gym

Our modern relaxation and fitness floor opened in 2011 and offers a relaxed atmosphere with a sauna, relaxation area and a small gym. There's plenty of space here for both relaxation and socialising.
