Quality Hotel™ Grand, Kristianstad

Nice breakfast, outside althea hotel there was extensive noise from various parties and cars with boombax. Impossible to sleep and I was not allocated a quite room. This is totally unacceptable as the hotel was well aware there was noise, still they did choose to give me a room in a party zone. Terrible experience, I am not comming back and I can not recommend the hotel.

Stayed for Business trip. It has Nice location and clean hotel. Reception are very nice and friendly. I Recommended.

As a wheelchair user, I chose this hotel because it offers accessible rooms. Unfortunately, I found something else. The room is spacious and there is an extra handle at the entrance door so that the door can be pulled shut. This is where the facilities for disabled people come to an end. There is no shelf in the wardrobe at wheelchair height, nor can you hang your clothes (so you have to scatter them on the floor and/or spread them out on the small desk). The bathroom door has a threshold several centimetres high (threshold!!!), the shower seat was assembled incorrectly. Fittings are too high and incorrectly positioned. Soap is out of reach, as is the hairdryer. Shower and hand towels are only accessible when standing.... Anyone travelling alone in a wheelchair is totally lost in this hotel. This is despite the fact that Sweden is a very wheelchair-friendly and accessible country. However, the friendly and helpful staff and the great and very tasty breakfast buffet deserve a positive mention.

I visited my hometown of Kristianstad together with my partner and we wanted a comfortable hotel in a good location. Grand Hotel was perfect for the situation. It is located only a two minute walk from the train station as well as the main shopping streets. The front desk staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. The hotel is in good condition and the room was spacious and clean. The gym is well equipped and I believe there is a sauna as well although we did not get the opportunity to use it. The highlight of the stay was probably the breakfast buffet - an excellent selection of Swedish goodies in a calming environment. We also tried the meatballs served at lunchtime which were authentic and so delicious. Overall an enjoyable experience and highly recommended.

We booked a room for two and dog. We expected the normal rundown pet room.... we were stunned at how clean it was and big. 10/10. They had left a treat or our dog, dog bowl, and even a bed. Staff was great allround. Checking in was done easy and very friendly staff. Same w check out. The only thing that was less than was the breakfast buffet. It did provide what was needed but the is room for some improvements. W that said it did allow us o put some food in our belly to start off the day. Great location and overall nothing negative to say about our stay. To the cleaners that are most always overlooked, think you for your great job!!
