Gunnebo Castle and the Castle Gardens are also well worth a visit – come here to enjoy a nice "fika" (a cup of coffee and something sweet) in the restaurant and in fine weather you can even sit outside to marvel at the amazing array of flowers. The Spinneriet in Lindome, a former spinnery, houses twenty or so creative companies selling all kinds of goods including ceramics, interior design and clothing. If you fancy some golf, you'll find seven golf courses near Mölndal! 

The historic Kvarbyn mill village

If you want to experience some authentic culture, then we recommend you to explore the streets of Kvarnbyn, a historic mill village, and the Mölndalsfallen, the Mölndal waterfall. This water was powering mills way back in the Middle Ages. Today, the water flows between the 19th century red brick industrial buildings and there are signs all around with information about bygone days. There's lots to do in Kvarnbyn – explore the Mölndal City Museum and the unique artisan shops selling a lovely range of traditional and modern goods.

A quick trip to the heart of Gothenburg

It's very easy to get to Gothenburg from Mölndal. Hop on a tram and you'll be in central Gothenburg within 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can get there by car in just 13 minutes via the E6 motorway. Landvetter Airport is about 20 minutes away from the hotel by car, and it takes about an hour to get to and from the airport using public transport.
