What a disappointing experience. This place feels more like a hostel than hotel so if you’re 20 and want to pay for an overpriced hostel, come here. Otherwise avoid!!! 1. The mattress isn’t a proper mattress it’s a thin piece of foam so good luck getting a good night of sleep. You’d get a better quality mattress in a dorm room hostel! 2. The breakfast is atrocious. It goes until 9:30 but most things have run out by 9 and the staff couldn’t care less. They don’t even have a toaster. 3. I came for my birthday and wrote that in the booking details and thought they might give me a small upgrade or do something special but they did nothing so don’t come here if you’re looking to celebrate an occasion as the staff don’t care. 4. The lobby feels like you’re in a cheap hostel, it doesn’t feel like a hotel. 5. There’s no basic things in the room like water, tissues, a phone etc. I dont know how this place has such good reviews - it doesn’t deserve them.

We had such an amazing time here! The room was good, the staff really friendly, there is a lovely bar and various other venues attached to the hotel, and it has a great vibe. The breakfast venue for the hotel was in the same building and stunning, with a fabulous array of delicious food on offer including Donburi and homemade smoothies. Can’t recommend Hobo highly enough, would not want to use any other hotel in Stockholm after our visit

A Perfect Hotel for a City Trip! The Location ist Perfect to Explorer Stockholm by Walking and we had a fantastic Breakfast at TAK!

Our experience at the hotel was mostly very good! Firstly, our check in and check out process was quick and flawless. We could leave our bags in a safe place on our last day and explore more of the city. Our bed was comfortable and everything worked in the room as intended. Everyone at the check in was welcoming and happy to help. The decor of downstairs is cool and the hotel pin notices in the elevator to make it clear what's going on. We stayed on New Year's Eve and had a very good experience. We were able to access the rooftop bar (which appeared to be run by another entity) and skip the very long queue with our key and had a great evening watching the fireworks in the snow. It's very important to note that the rooftop bar attracts a lot of locals on New Year's eve, all in black tie dress code, so we did feel a bit uncomfortable in our jeans and warm coats. I would advise slightly warmer but smarter dress. But it was a great evening. The breakfasts at TAK are fantastic, lots of variety and all tasted great. Even the added extra of staying open later on new years day for those who had a late night the night before. It's the little things like this which are great! What we did find frustrating was the unpredictable hours of the Hobo hotel bar. On New Year's eve we was told there would be Karaoke and Shuffleboard upstairs, but this never opened. For the rest of the week the opening hours of the bar itself were on display, but every time we arrived past 10 o clock it was closed regardless of date (except new years eve) which we were not made aware of, so it is not a late bar and everywhere else was closed over the new year period. The hotel markets itself as a place to have a good time, but we found the fact the bar was always closed later on doesn't quite fit with this. There were a few cup marks on our window sill which made it feel like the room hadn't quite been cleaned properly. It also feels a bit messy as the style of the room has no wardrobes or cupboards, so everything your travel with is on show.

The Hobo Stockholm offers nice, clean rooms perfectly suited for a city visit. The central location offers great accessibility to all your desires (from exploring the city to leaving the center for an archipelago kayaking experience). What makes this place outstanding is the Swedish-Japanese fusion breakfast at Tak. This has been by far most diverse breakfast I ever experienced and allowed starting the day healthy. Can highly recommend.
