I am an experienced hotel guest. After booking the largest suite the hotel can offer - I can not in any way say that I am impressed with hotel staff at reception. Just make sure all your needs and booking requisites go through their online app. Speaking directly with reception staff does no good/not helping. Central booking will/can override any local info given. Oh - by the way - the app did not work for me. Could be me - but silly me thought that actually speaking with reception making sure they get details on my visit would be as good as the app. Big mistake. And if you book the largest suite - bring your own ice bowls. The bar may refuse to send you ice and instead ask you to come down with your glasses to fill them with ice. Yes - I am a bit put off by waiting for two hours next to the reception to get my ordered early check-in without even getting a coffee offered. And then being asked to pay USD 12 extra fee for the pleasure of entering the room at 3:05 pm. PS A big fat piece of Swedish snus (tobacco) also left on the remote in the room.

I’m travelling to Stockholm with my bf, family and friends in a group of 10. The first contact with the staff was good as the check in went smoothly and fast. The outside facade and the lobby look very chique and modern, but our poor experience begun when we arrived at floor 6 where we were given the rooms. - 1st, they gave us wrong access cards so the access to our rooms was delayed and it was a bit of chaos as 3 / 5 cards were wrongly coded (or wrongly labeled with the rooms no.); - 2nd, the AC is not working on heat and rooms on floor 6 are freezing cold even if the thermostat is on maximum; also, the windows don’t close perfectly and the cold breeze can be felt near them (and also you can hear the traffic as if a window is open); - 3rd and the most disturbing and shocking was the lack of cleanliness. The room I was given on floor 6 was not vacuumed since forever I guess and was freezing cold and the bathroom was outrageously dirty and gross - as can be observed in the attached photos (which were taken in 2 different rooms); the “shower” is just a drain (directly on the tile floor) between 2 glass doors, with no threshold or water seal gasket, so the bathroom is easily flooded whenever you take a shower; the shower’s glass doors were very, very dirty and this was absolutely gross as the amount of dirt was obviously SOAP MARKS which were 100% left from the previous guest(s) - this made me instantly sick as I pictured myself showering BAREFOOT on the tiles where other strangers have previously (at least) showered….and this is not all: the tile floor is dusty and has A LOT of old, builded and accumulated dirt around the shower; also, the shower faucet is carelessly cleaned. - 4th, 3 / 5 rooms on floor 6 have all the above problems and we sincerely can not understand how is this hotel maintaining a 4-star rank and reputation. - 5th, last but not least, no refrigerator and no minibar in the room and the widows do not open so if you need to keep something cold - like a sandwich for later or the child’s mashed fruits or a beer for the boys - bad luck - I don’t know what’s the solution…but oh…I guess the rooms are cold enough to suffice! 😂 - 6th and this is good - the staff was very understanding when we asked to change rooms because of the dirt. Also, they gave us electric heaters as the rooms will not get any warmer by using the thermostat. I must say it, as Romanians travelling to Estonia, Finland and Sweden with the occasion of the New Year 2025, we were extremely dissatisfied and disappointed by what these countries offer within “4 star hotels services”, but among all the above, this hotel in Stockholm is far even from a 3-star rank... In Romania, this would be around 2-3 stars…with indulgence. After all, we are happy to visit this beautiful city and even happier (now) that our stay in this hotel is very short (2 night). I have also addressed all these issues to the hotel’s managing team via e-mail and I really do hope that their services will get better, especially the cleaning services, as these are highly important and also important extremely dangerous if lacking! Best regards to all the hotel’s staff and their future guests.

Very comfy place and great connections to where ever we wanted to go. We had trouble signing in because our ferry arrived at 6.30 and check in was at 16:00, but the staff was very helpful and got us another room so we could check in early and rest. We also got 2-for-1 breakfast while waiting for our new room to be ready which it was very soon. Overall great place, great service and will definitely stay again.

The hotel is very much interconnected with Globe and hence it can be practical if one is attending something there, but the location is a bit far off from the central part of Stockholm and although it is reasonable to reach with public transportation reaching it is not immediate. The hotel rooms are tidy and reasonably comfortable with a quite simple, very scandinavian style, and reasonably practical. The hotel per se' is quite anonymous and I think it lack charm, but of course, it serves well its purpose. Breakfast is quite standard, also that very scandinavian and with the essentials to have a quite well covered meal. What surprises me most was that the breakfast tables were having the view over the padel courts, making the breakfast far from cosy and quite disturbing as well. I count that there were tables also without that view. Otherwise, all together, a decent staying with no complains and nothing remarkable.
