Strömstad Spa & Resort

Overall, it was a fairly good experience. We decided to upgrade the room, and when we arrived, there was a large crack in the door out to the balcony. The spa was good, but the silence spa was reserved from 5 pm to 7 pm, and at 8 pm, it was still not cleaned from the previous guests - glasses, etc, was still on the table. The breakfast was great!

Poor service at the reception, spa and restaurant. Food was very good elderly couple having sggx in the outdoor pool was totally awful. outdoor disco music in a bar in the resturant until 01 at night, not able to sleep

They allowed a band to play in the lobby past midnght and my room shook! I had to go down to complain and I wasnt alone. This is something I have never experienced before in 100s of hotels I have stayed in and was totally unacceptable and I should not have had to go down No phone in the room. I had to go down at midnight and once again at 1: 30 AM. Also, Handicap spot was taken so hotel staff said to park in the space next to it. I did and got a ticket! They told me they would take care of it and took the ticket from me. They gave me a card to email if something went wrong with that and --it did. My emails now go unanswered and I have to eat the ticket for parking where they told me to park!

No air conditioning in the rooms, which made it almost impossible to sleep (it was sooo so hot). No mini fridge in the room.. Service was mid to not very good - no smiling, no welcoming spirits among the staff. It seemed like the staff would want to be anywhere else than working at this hotel. On a positive note; the Flow Spa was very nice, and the food in the restaurant was also good.

This vacation was the perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. Strömstad Spa and trip to Koster Island, beauty and hospitality exceeded our expectations, leaving us with memories that will last a lifetime. Whether you’re looking for romance, adventure, or a peaceful retreat, Strömstad Spa, and Koster Island is an excellent destination that I highly recommend.
