Nice hotel, with nice rooms. Comfortable bed. Shower could use a proper clean or upgrade Gym could use an upgrade. Broken machines for a while and not very much happening. I also think that the reception closing from 22-07 is bizarre. But not affecting the starts giving, just wanted to point it out. Communication between the restaurants and reception seems to be off, two fully booked restaurants is just unacceptable when staying as a hotel guest. At least inform me to book or something. Not very helpful. Got lucky and found a seat at pub 1803. I will come back and see if there has been any changes

Back for the second time this year, got a renovated/updated room with a great bathroom, otherwise good room - nothing fancy but clean and a good bed. Be aware of the older rooms (not advertised upon booking) the bathrooms are tiny and quite outdated, ask reception for a newer room, if available.

…. accept a room facing the street. Easy to find. Parking a nightmare. Download an parking app, that doesn’t really work. Really nice reception with high level of service. Great first impression. Fine information about this and that in the hotel. Accept from telling you that you can pay parking at the reception. Booked a single room, for two nights. That’s what I got. Not with a view, but street noise through out the night. Room had okay tv, coffee facilities and a fairly sized bathroom. Restaurant is an English inspired “pub” with food that’s fits. Many restaurants very close. Excellent breakfast, great variety of cold and hot. Would probably be back with a room facing away from the front.

Outdated rooms wheys heavily on the score and would have given 3/5 otherwise. More on that at the end. Check in was ok, hotel parking not available so had to park at a nearby public spot. Breakfast average with only most basic dishes and beverages available. Breakfast room rather dirty and staff seemed to focus other tasks than keeping dining area tidy. In general, staff seemed to have focus on colleagues and not guest. Experienced this both in the pub at night and during breakfast. In the pub, I was left waiting 3-4 minutes at the counter, while hearing a racket going on in the back room. Tried to holler but without result. Eventually the receptionist took care of me and later the two gentlemen from the back room showed up. The whole experience showed lack of understanding customer focus and I would say lacked basic professionalism. The room is a story of its own. Got allocated a room on the second floor that upon netting reeks of stuffy air and mould. The whole atmosphere was of a room hardly done up since the 70’ and the bathroom really not up to standards. Lot’s of mould between tiles in the shower, clingy shower curtain (haven’t experienced that in a while) and generally a shabby and dusty appearance. Cannot recommend this hotel to anyone and there should be better options nearby.

Kind of strange. They have no staff. And, the keycard did not work. Thankfully two norwegian girls understood. The only way, or securitas. Be aware. I was happy those norwegians helped me I have to write 200 things, so I can post.
